Sampled at the End of History tasting. Aroma is iron, autumnal leaves, and malt. Pours light red with bubbles and light lacing. Taste is burnt bread crust and malt. Mouthfeel is bitter and light. Unpleasant and a poor substitute for a bohemian pils. SDbruboy (1864) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 3, 2009
On draft at Zum Biergarten in Copenhagen. Clear amber with a large white head that left spotty lace. Aroma of toasty and biscuity malts with notes of wild herbs and floral hops. Toasty malts in the flavor with a upfront hoppiness featuring more of the herby and floral character, along wit a nice earthiness. Light body and tingly carbonation. Pleasant little late night drinker.
