It tastes a little better then most, apretty good beer, not a special treat, worthy to drink and good enough to share. I I hadn’t of drank it, I would’nt have missed anything really.Next D (577) - Gdynia, POLAND - AUG 16, 2005
Amber colour, bubbly lasting head, pleasant smell. Smooth, vaguely any bitterness, drinks well. Never drunk a Vienna before and I’m gonna change it. ganache (5893) - New Jersey, USA - MAR 31, 2006
Bottled. Rich amber pour with an excellent beige head and medium carbonation. Sweet aroma, some spicy malt. Thick and crisp, spicy, malty, tart, finishes mildly bitter. A little fruity sweetness, dry finish though. Very good. Nisse666 (7401) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - DEC 1, 2009

UPDATED: JAN 14, 2014 Served in special Granat glass (resembles pilsner glass) at brewery in Prague in 2011 (from notes).
A lovely, clear reddish-amber with golden highlights topped by a fluffy off-white head. Head has good duration and leaves lots of coating on the glass.
Aroma: medium and light malts with some (Zatek?) hops.
T - a rich version of a standard czech lager, with traces of the dark malt flavor of Czech tmavy (dunkel). A particularly nice finish featuring both toasted malt and hops
M - medium body; good medium carbonation; slight dryness in finish.
O - a fine medium—dark lager well worth seeking out

Recenzja 15 sierpnia 2011 Brunatno-czerwony kolor, całkiem przyjemny owocowo-słodowy zapach, rześki, w pierwszej chwili słodowy smak, który po chwili uwalnia przyjemną goryczkę. flying_pig (1571) - SCOTLAND - APR 29, 2014

Grassy hops & caramel notes come through at the start of this one, alongside some sweetness & a few earthy notes. Some toffee too and a light bitterness & toasted notes that linger.
Reddish amber, a 2cm, creamy, white head that holds very well & leaves some nice lacing too.
Faint, almost spicy hops & caramel start things off here, sugars feature too & there is some further sweetness from some faint vanilla & some butter with sweet malts too.
Clean with a fairly crisp and light-medium body that is well-carbonated & sharp finish. Sweet one and struck a good balance whilst going down quite easily.
Like a pale lager initially but with more sweetness but from the middle on the beer improves on this with a lot of sweet malts & caramel. Not a classic but it is a nice one and certainly one worth trying, particularly if you can find it on-tap anywhere.
A mild apple aroma. A soft palate with an increasing bitterness.
Better than Staropramen 12. LoveCaissa (873) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 18, 2005
Deep amber colour with a dense head. Pleasant malty aroma with hints of fruits. Flavour has a nice malty base and a pleasant, medium bitter finish. Good stuff. rozsoma (1021) - Gyõr, HUNGARY - NOV 20, 2009
UPDATED: MAY 9, 2016 Fizzy head, amber coloured, watery textured brew, which has glad caramelic aroma. This is a bit raw for me: as i taste it rasps my tounge and my palate. Then the flavour is sweet firstly then it turns to bitter as you swallow it. Lightly disturbing cardboard feel in the finish. Revisited, Praha 2016: sima alapsör, kis karamell beütéssel. Ivósörnek előszeretettel alkalmazható.
