0.5 l draught @ Vltava, Helsinki as Unfiltered Staropramen. Apperance is golden, very cloudy (like some juice) and big head, which dies very fast, lively and bubbly. Aroma has barley. Taste has barley, bit of sweetness from alcohol, which makes this smooth, but also a bit too heavy for a traditional Czech evening session with beer. Ending has enough hops to make this a balanced experience unless you drink too many of these. Not for those who like hoppier Pilsners. ryanfolty (2659) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - JUN 29, 2017
June 28, 2017 - on tap at the Swan. Nicely balanced with malt and hops, palate was smooth and creamy. Wendigo (757) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JAN 27, 2017
Tap. Malty aroma, significant yeasty notes, soft bread notes. Hazy yellow color, white head. Malty and yeasty taste, light sour, light bitter. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation and soft bitter finish with soft soury notes. Ok. djoeye (5510) - Tromsø, NORWAY - APR 14, 2016
Big off white head, rich lacing, hazy amberish deep golden body.
Aroma has hops, meadow, saaz notes, caramel, malts and bread.
Tastes malts, sweet hops, fruity honey notes, caramel, sweet grass, sweet brown bread - ends malty gently.
Good body and natural carbonation.
Easy fully svetly.

Hazy yellowish orange colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, sweet malty along with quite big yeastyness. Flavour is yeasty, fruity, wooden with mild herbal, grassy and toffeeish notes. Thin palate though.
Draught at SBWF.
Pours golden with a big white head.
Bready, smooth and light bitterness. hirigalzkar (3304) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 30, 2012
Draught sample @ SBWF 2012. Pours golden with a big white head. The aroma has got the fresh notes of hay and bread that one are looking for. Taste is however quite dull and tastes a bit like old white bread. Rodriguez (364) - Quito, ECUADOR - JAN 15, 2012
Very light beer, no noticeable aroma, a boring beer, pilsner urquell is a better choice for this style of beer 3fourths (9381) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 7, 2011
I have to assume this is what I had at the shitty little rock bar in kutna hora, labeled Staropramen Nefiltrovany, because what’s listed here as that name has coriander and wheat and other stuff in it and this certainly did not. Body was deeply cloudy and pale gold with a tall fine-bubbled creamy white head. Nose is extremely pale and neutral with only light touches of pilsner malt and semi-sweet egg white yeast - no discernable hop aromatics, it’s just too muddled. Flavor is pale and quiet wet crackers with sludgy yeast, masking any hop flavor, though their bitterness is present in small amounts. Dense, frothy and rotund body. A strange one, altogether not bad but I greatly prefer the regular Staropramen 12°, even if it isn’t a superb bohemian pilsner, it’s at least clean and crisp.
