Pale gold in colour with delicately flowery aromas and a taste in which hop crispness and malty softness combines to highly drinkable effect.

opilec (10) - CANADA - AUG 13, 2007
My favourite of the Czech pilseners. Staropramen is great on tap and in the bottle. Possibly the maltiest flavour of the large Czech producers. Let hoppy aftertaste, but still prevalent, as is common with Czech Pilseners. Unfortunately, not available in Western Canada, where I am, but worth a shot if you run into it.

stegosaurus (1882) - Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 13, 2007
Bottle sampled. Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malts and grassy hops. The flavor is bitter, grain, pale malts, and finishes dry. Thin bodied, met expectations(but they weren’t high).

cyrenaica (1159) - Milton, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 10, 2007
I tried this beer on August 10, 2007 at the Esplanade Biermarket in Toronto. The beer was a deep translucent gold in colour with a very white small head that lasted mere seconds. The aroma on the other was quite foul with some soapy hints. The mouthfeel was thin-bodied and very crisp with a high level of carbonation. The taste was slightly malty with a strong presence of wheat.

Moz (613) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - AUG 4, 2007
Draught. Golden colour with an off-white head. Light hoppy aroma. Discreet malty flavour with a wee sweetness.

Christian (13759) - Odense, DENMARK - JUL 31, 2007
Yellow with a big white head, and even a hint of lace. Somewhat weak aroma compared to other Bohemians, slightly floral with some herbs. Malty and dry but lacking in hops compared to the masters Budvar and Urquell.

JK (6240) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - JUL 31, 2007
A little skunk in the aroma. Aroma has light hops, with moderate hops and light malt combined in the flavor. Quite dry for the style. Not bad, but it needs a brown bottle.

BDR (2534) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - JUL 25, 2007
Honey gold color. Sweet honey and corn nose. Light hoppy body with grainy flavor.

shoestring (419) - larkhall, SCOTLAND - JUL 23, 2007
UPDATED: MAY 18, 2017 Nice one. Deep mahogany. Large head when poured correctly. Easily drunk. Malty aroma present. (bargain at 50p a bottle from Asda)........... Rerated 7/2/12 as drunk a lot of it recently over last few days - became cloying. Rerated April 2016. Draught Southerness . Nice . Cool thick oily palate with malts coming through. Creamy pint.

Adenila (1560) - DENMARK - JUL 17, 2007
Clear golden towards amber, with a nice foamy white head. Aroma is mainly hobby, with notes of straw and metal. Classic one dimentional pilsener bitterness. Solid

thenick (766) - North Bellmore, New York, USA - JUL 16, 2007
Pours a golden color with prominent carbonation and a slight white head. Aroma is faintly hoppy and malty. Taste is same, though rather watery and forgettable.
