Pours a gold coloured body with a medium sized white head. Aroma of Saaz hops with a metallic background. The flavour opens with a sweet and toasty maltiness, and moves into fresh, grassy hops. Crisp and pleasant finish.

Terrible aroma on this pils and it really jumps out of the glass. It is reminiscent of some Italian birras I have had. It is a very nice looking beer being golden in color and clear, clean and crisp. Very little carbonation to disturb the clear appearance. Hops are very noticeable but they are a distinct hop. The hop effect is not overly tart but much smoother and bitter. There is some floral hints as well as some earthiness. This settled into a dry and bitter decent beer overcoming the early aroma. MarkoR (959) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 25, 2006
Not too interesting lager that comes with a generous head I’ll admit. There’s better lager out there. PilsnerPeter (3045) - Flushing, New York, USA - SEP 21, 2006
UPDATED: DEC 18, 2008 I had this one on tap at the Bohemian Beer Garden. I actually think this lager has a decent quality. Creamy mouthfeel. It has a crisp maltyness and a flowery hop finish of late dryness. Balanced, not bad. thewolf (12589) - Kolding, DENMARK - SEP 20, 2006
Tap. Golden with a little creamy white head. Mild flowery hoppyness in the aroma. Quite dry mouthfeel with some fullness to it.

Bottle. This is one boring lager (pilsner). Color is good - saturated yellow, with mostly lasting white head. Lightly malty in the aroma with some hint of bananas. Flavor is dissapointingly watery. Good hoppy finish, but to short and somewhat metallic. marchcow (664) - Coralville, Iowa, USA - SEP 8, 2006
Light aroma with floral hints. Good solid golden color. Flavor is light and smooth. Slightly sweet up front with light bitter finish and hints of citrus. Nekronos (4175) - Xalapa, MEXICO - SEP 6, 2006
A whole mess with these beers. Those double grades make a lot of mixings in here. The taste is good, and the foam quite good, but it is just normal Czech lager, nothing from outter world. GiBrew (171) - Fredericton, New Brunswick, CANADA - SEP 5, 2006
Pours golden orange with a small slightly fizzy head - looks slightly carbonated. Very sweet aroma with notes of malt and some skunkyness. Some caramel in the flavour, but mostly bitter, light to medium body. LordBeamish (144) - Boozetown, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 29, 2006
bottle: Poured golden with an ample white head. Very little aroma, but perhaps a little whiff of skunk. Not really a lot going on flavour wise. Very thin without the hoppy bitterness of most pils. Not offensive in anyway....just really boring. I won’t be rushing out to try it again.
