Draft at Queens Arm in Kensington, London. Poured a golden yellow body with little white head. Aroma is malt, and skunk. The taste is pretty smooth, the skunkyness is not overtly offensive. Good boheem pils. mikey (503) - farmington, Utah, USA - MAR 28, 2008
Poured a nice golden color with afinger of white head. The nose had a definite skunky aroma with a little maltiness beneth. The flavor was smooth and lightly sweet with a slightly biting finish. Mouthfeel is light and effervescent with a lingering hop finish. An acceptable lager it has the virtue of being very crisp, and a little lemony, which in this case was a good thing. Bottle from Trader Joes. Pours a golden color with a nice bubbly white head. Nose is sweet malts, bread, a touch of hops and a bit of skunk. Palate is fairly sweet with a decent dry light hop finish. Not too bad for pilsner really. SpudClampDawg (1029) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - MAR 24, 2008
12 oz bottle: Caramel orange pour with a frothy, finger high head. Green, skunky hop nose with notes of wet grass, pine needles and bitter rind. Notes of honey and caramel balance the hoppy body. Drinks easy and has a nice balance for the style. A little bitter and green, but overall a nice summer drinker. keghead (15) - USA - MAR 22, 2008
Pretty much what you would expect of a Czech Pilsner. An average beer that is certainly enjoyable and drinkable.

Pours clear gold with a bubbly white head. Grass, honey, and perfume in the aroma. Clean hop sweetness up front, but bleeds into corn, straw, and grain. Malty biscuit finish. Not bad haf (531) - Gijon, SPAIN - MAR 10, 2008

typical pilsner of the czech type. strong on the flavor (for the style) with a good refreshing quality nice body and good appropriate carbonation. appely type flavor and cider like mild bite. earthy with an authentic mostly flowery aromatic type note that enters slightly into the taste and is interesting. ok. bconger (144) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - MAR 6, 2008
Bottle. Foamy, white head; dark, honey/straw-colored. Grassy, caramel and slight floral aromas. Crisp and hoppy up front, but this fades rather quickly and an unbalanced bitterness lingers. Very nicely carbonated, but mouthfeel is thin. Altogether, a nice example of a Czech pilsner (though not as quintessentially so as Pilsner Urquell) and a very drinkable beer.
