Pale gold in colour with delicately flowery aromas and a taste in which hop crispness and malty softness combines to highly drinkable effect.

Golden color. Light malt aroma. Good body structure, quite fruity hoppiness, very strong bitterness, just a bit metallic. Pleasant refreshment.

Tap at the Bailiwick, Englefield Green, 17/02/13. Clear golden with a thin white head, carbonation evident. Nose is malt forward, grass and citrus in the background and light floral hops. Taste comprises malt, sugars, light hops, grass, citrus. Medium bodied with spritzy carbonation, dry crisp finish. Nothing too great here - goes down better in the summer months!

mcberko (19871) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 14, 2009
On tap at a restaurant in Prague. Pours a golden colour with a white head. Flavour is of bread, mild hops and grass. Refreshing on a hot day, but nothing special here.

Bottle. Pale gold. Nice enough lager. slightly buttery not too much carbonation with nice biting hop finish, some citrus not much aroma with faint hops. Not bad at all

Oakes (19426) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 12, 2001
UPDATED: APR 2, 2004 Amber; slightly toasty, slightly metallic aroma but predominantly Saaz. Body is thinnish per style, with caramelly, toasty malt notes and background grassy Saaz hops. Finishes sweetish and slightly watery. Decent but I'm not as impressed with the quality of the maltiness as I used to be.

UPDATED: NOV 21, 2003 A very good beer. Colden color with a nice head. A very clean flavor that attractes me. Defintately a beer worth trying, over and over again...

TBone (18561) - Pori, FINLAND - JUN 8, 2004
UPDATED: NOV 13, 2004 Draught
Lager color, medium white head. Aroma sweet malts, a bit honey-like. Medium-bodied, sweet malty with grassy hopped aftertaste. Very good pilsener. (6/2/7/4/14 3.3)
Re-rated, bottled as "Premium"
Lager color, small white head. Flowery nose, well-hoppied, kind of smokey palate. Well-balanced typical Czech pils. (5/2/4/3/9 2.3)
