tap @ slovakia. pale colour, light body, high carbonated, nice foam, an average lager, nothing special

Direct uit fles 0,5 liter. Goudgeel met redelijk schuim. Weinig co2. Ruikt licht hoppig, gekruid. Smaak is voor een lager erg vol.

Nice sweet maltiness, almost like a darker beer. Some hop bitterness apparent, more so than Pilsner Urquell but not as much as Crystal. I really have to say that I owe the Czechs bigtime for introducing me to ’lager as quality drink’ as opposed to my previous concept of ’lager as inexpensive summer thirst-quencher.’

Prauge-07. Decent pilsner, with very good hop character and high carbonation.

Half litre bottle, small head. Very nice colour, looks like a belgian pale ale. Saaz aroma, also picked up hints of red cabbage. Sweeter than other czech beers, tasted of flowers. Nice mouthfull. Decent go to beer, nice on a hot day.

Keg. Poured a nice colour but no head, tastes a bit woody. It's ok but it certainly won't be on top of my pilsner list. A little too much flavour(?!) for a pilsner for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Liquor Mountain. Drank loads of this living in Prague, first time in years... pours clear gold, low fizzy head that goes. Nice full bready malt aroma, herbal Noble hops. Similar flavour but kinda bland. A little under-carbonated, but not exactly a fresh bottle. Good to know I can still turn to this budget everyday pils, for about Ą200 it’s ok fridge filler.

Gold color, looks like a pilsner, smells like a pilsner so im assuming its going to taste like one. This actually tastes ok (im not a fan of european pilsners) non offensive, easy to drink.

Poured from the bottle into the pint glass, this is old school pilsner. I used to go to a bohemian restaurant in Cicero to feast and drink this beer off the tap every Sunday. This is authentic Czech goes great with anything pork, starch, and gravy.

Pours a clear golden color with lots of streaming carbonation bubbles. There is a thick white head that left some lacing around the glass. The aroma bready and sweet malts and possibly some yeast as well. The taste has some hops up front that are pretty noticeable even though they are not overpowering. It finishes very sweet and bready. The mouth-feel is light/medium and the drink-ability is rather high. This is a great beer and I highly recommend it.
