Good hops bitterness. And good balance between hops and malt. friejose (24) - Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA - JUN 26, 2002
It’s okay but there’s so many better Czech pilsners, it’s not worth the bother MaxPower (961) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - SEP 29, 2002
Foamy white head, floral aroma. Clean golden color, crisp. Allseeingeye (223) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - OCT 31, 2002
Pale gold. Medium sized head. Maltier than Urquell. Floral smell. Crisp finish. Nicly hopped. Wiseblood (700) - Clarksville, Tennessee, USA - FEB 4, 2003
Light gold with a medium body. Fresh hop aroma countered with some sweet flavor. Some skunky aftertaste detracts overall.

Very bland it had the same hoppy/flower taste
Pilsner Urquell had, but it was much lighter. It goes good with light foods like chicken, where as Pilsner Urquell goes good with chicken as well as heartier meals. TheBeerCollector (633) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - AUG 30, 2003
Pours a bright golden color with no head retention (from the bottle). Somewhat skunky aroma typical of this type of beer. Flavor is well balanced with the hop bitterness coming through to overpower the malt in the finish. Quite refreshing for a summer afternoon. AndersR (196) - Århus, DENMARK - DEC 5, 2003
Light fresh pils from Prague (hope the story about where they get their water from isnt true -the river Moldau). Anyway a fine refreshing beer that reminds me alot of Urquel. Lots of hop and bitterness. DanielBrown (4502) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - JAN 12, 2004
Draught, at the Hogshead, Birmingham. Very, very fizzy. Warm blonde colour, with a big, white, frothy head. Unpleasant, sulphur aroma. Metal flavour, quite sweet. Refreshing, but suffers against the other, similar beers which I tried this evening. Rockinout (966) - Kent, Ohio, USA - APR 13, 2004
Yellowish gold color, saaz(?) in the nose, a tad skunked (green bottle). Somewhat fruity with a drying finish. Standard European lager.
