On tap at the Durham. Go hoos! Rich deep malt body. Nice juicy fruit. Mild hop but good tropical fruit happening. Best I’ve had of the day so far. Dogbrick (13777) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 8, 2014
This beer pours a hazy orange color with a medium thick off-white head that dissipates steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of citrus, hops and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of spicy hops, roast malt and fruit. The finish is subtly spicy rye malt with a fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall. jtclockwork (17284) - , New Jersey, USA - FEB 18, 2014
Bottle. Pours cloudy gold with white head. Nose and taste of spicy rye, white sugar, dry bread, sugared grapefruit peel, light orange zest and sugared wheat malt. Medium body. Dry finish. Very overcarbonated. . Otherwise, pretty good. dphoxie (120) - North Carolina, USA - OCT 8, 2013
unimpressive. very drinkable, but i don’t look for "drinkable" in my DIPAs. some of the regulars at my favorite bottle shop love this one but it doesn’t do it for me. I keep trying it, and keep thinking: "gee this is pretty good homebrew" but if i wanted homebrew i would make homebrew. Drake (14078) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 31, 2013
Bomber from Bestway, bottled 6/23/13. Pours a slightly hazy amber, lots of visible carbonation, large creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of big citrus and tropical notes, floral and rye notes, mild toasted malts. The taste is strong rye, some tropical notes, herbal hop finish. Mild toasted malts, a hint of the wheat. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness, faint booze. Nice beer.

Draft at Beer Study. Good aroma, sweet. citrus, Orange mainly, some grapefruit. Little buttery, but not in a bad way. Hazed golden orange color, small head, minor lace. Sweet bitter flavor. Heavy body thick creamy oily mouthfeel. Bittersweet finish. Pretty darn tasty. Little two hearted like with green flash twist. Good stuff. reggiedunlop (3726) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 22, 2013
pours a hazy orange with a medium creamy off white head...lively. aroma has caramely notes and light citrus...touch of rye...mostly sweet...almost buttery. flavor has some rye spice and citrus...some caramely/buttery sweetness coming through...seems like some diacetyl going on here. mouthfeel is light/medium with a buttery/grapefruity dry finish. Bottle at home and draft at Beer Study. Pours a deeper orange with a medium sized sudsy white head. Nose shows some citrus and tropical fruit upfront, light diacetyl, a bit of herbal garlic notes, a bit cheesy. Flavor is similar, with the rye playing a more minor role than expected. A little on the sweet side for my tastes, but another move in the right direction from this fine gentlemen who makes this beer. Kudos! Suttree (6505) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 17, 2013
Cloudy old gold, thin white head. Big blast of grapefruit up front, then a whiff of caramel. Very tasty - nicely hoppy up front, very dry, and very smooth. The Bride called it velvety, let’s go with that. Crisp, dry finish. As it warmed, I got just a hint of butter, which was the only demerit. emacgee (4705) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - JUN 3, 2013
Very cloudy pale blonde pour with one finger of white head. The nose has heavy onion/garlic components and a light vegetal quality. Some citrus shows as well. A bready sweetness in the flavor with vegetal notes. Spicy malt at the finish. Soft medium body with a moderate bitterness.
