Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very dark brown color with orange highlights and a large foamy orange-tan head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was malty nutmeg and clove. The flavor was bitter, roasty, and woody with nutmeg, clove and nuts. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh. Cybercat (6155) - Georgia, USA - JAN 13, 2015
Comes out of the growler opaque chocolate brown with a thick and frothy tan head. Roast malt aroma has notes of cinnamon, pumpkin, and caramel. Flavor has pleasing malt, pumpkin, spice, and subtle caramel notes - a joy to drink! Texture is firm and smooth, if not too fizzy. Box one up - and leave the car at home, please. chinchill (5319) - South Carolina, USA - JAN 7, 2015
12 oz bottle with a pkg date of 17 Sept 2014.
Pours very dark brown, nearly opaque in my snifter, with a moderate size tan head that soon reduces to a ring.
Aroma: not good right out of the bottle when notes of decayed vegetation were quite obvious, but these soon vanished leaving a spicy aroma with faint roasted grains.
Flavor: a spiced (nutmeg and other pie spices), slightly mild porter with hints of pumpkin.
Feel: near full body; medium carbonation that may be a tad higher than optimum.

Bottle, black pour. Tan head, nose if pumpkin, taste is pumpkin plus chocolate plus coffee jbruner (5289) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - NOV 28, 2014
Pours a deep hazy black brown on cask with thin tan head that leaves good lace. Aroma of pumpkin spice and dark roasty malts. Taste is pretty much all of the spice, no roast. Not too bad.

caramel, brown, cloudy, minimal head, medium body, average carbonation, long finish, tnkw01 (1800) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 16, 2014
Bottle. Large head that quickly disappears and then not much after that. Clear, medium, dark brown in color. Aroma is the usual pumpkin pie spice but with notes of roasted grains. Taste is really disappointing. A little too much cinnamon not a nice balance in the spice and it was weird with the burnt grain, coffee flavor. Itzjerm (3126) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - NOV 6, 2014
Not a very impressive beer. Has a nice pumkin aroma. Is a bit thin on the tongue and carbonation comes through almost more than anything. Little to no head. No pumkin past first drink. This is really subpar. Dogbrick (13789) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 3, 2014
Sample at Kurtkeller 017: Pumpkin-tastic 02 on 10/13/2014. Dark brown color with a medium tan head that recedes quickly. Short strings of lacing. Roasted malt and spice in the nose. Light body with flavors of roast malt, pumpkin spices and slight coffee. The finish is somewhat thin with a roasty malt and allspice aftertaste. Slightly above average overall. ndfreak77 (132) - USA - OCT 31, 2014
From bottle, poured dark black with slight off white head. Very aromatic filed with pumpkin spices. Nice malty flavor infused with cinnamon, ginger and brown sugar. Finishes with a slight bitterness.
