Dppe copper. Nose malty and sweet, a bit peaty. Malts are biscuity and sweet, then a surprising load of hops, rather citric. Palate is sticky. Rather enjoyed it, but certainly didn’t taste like an Oktoberfest to me. jeffc666 (1984) - Fairfax, Virginia, USA - OCT 10, 2004
Clear amber with a frothy light tan head. Malty nutty, lightly sweet aroma. Citurs hops and biscuity malt flavors. Very non-traditional, and rather bitter. I wonder if this is actually an ale. Medium body with a very nice finish. Not at all to style but an enjoyable brew. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 9, 2004
(CapCityOktoberfest04) Clear amber body with beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, grassy, some peach. Taste is medium sweet, grassy, some caramel, light pepper. Medium body, fairly dry finish. Nice beer, though not really on style.
