Pours a clear copper color with no head. Aroma of bread and toasted malt. Bready flavor with some toffee and toasted malt. Okay. OnTheTrail (493) - Virginia, USA - MAR 11, 2017
In bottle. Aroma is malty enoygh. Flavor is malty, pleasant, decent amber lager. Though perhaps not up to SABL standard. sonnycheeba (5970) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - SEP 26, 2016
Bottle at tasting event. Pours amber. Aroma and flavor are bready and toasted malts, light toffee, some lager yeast esters, and some faint spice. Light/medium body. brownaler (644) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - AUG 7, 2016
Faint vanilla aroma with a bit transferring to the body. Finish is clean with some Amber notes. slowrunner77 (11917) - Reno, Nevada, USA - MAY 18, 2016
Either I got caught with an old arse bottle at WF, or this beer just sucks. Still crisp, but lacking any pronounced flavor or aroma. Generic, light sweetness and toast...a little stale. Meh.

Bottle. Color is Amber shade, a bit darker than most lager styles that I know. Head disappeared fast. Caramel and bread notes. Light bodied.

Bottle at Cafe Deluxe Bethesda. Clear amber with slight head. Nose of malts, roasty, some suds. Taste malty, roasty, caramel. Smooth finish. rondphoto (4383) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - JUL 20, 2015
bottle @ Beer Run / Charlottesville VA --- Clear dark orange amber color, thick ivory head, streamers of lace. Bright color, good looking. Aroma of malt. Taste is semi-sweet malt that has mild carbonation on the swallow, and hops that give a sense of unsweetened tea as much as bittering. A satisfying brew, easy to drink, lots of flavor. chinchill (4937) - South Carolina, USA - APR 4, 2015
12 oz dated purchase before Dec. 2011 and served in a pint glass. Tad of sediment on bottom of bottle added mid-tasting.
Pours a nice orange-amber, dark for style, but with only a little off-white head that rather quickly reduces to a ring.
Not much in the way of aroma, although both light/medium malt and spicy hops are evident. The flavor too seems at first unremarkable, but there is an extra bit of bitter hops in here, as well as some ’extra’ malt. The body is a bit fuller than average.
O - This is not a particularly bold or interesting style, and this beer stays too close to the low expectations for a macro-brewery lager excepting the extra spicy and bitter hops. The semi-dry and relatively full mouthfeel also elevate this beer. Still, I found it not flawed, perhaps, but not good or interesting enough to recommend to anyone except fans of this style. solidfunk (8838) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - APR 2, 2015
Not a lot going on here guys. Pours amber without much head or lacing. Some crispness and a touch of sugar. This ones been in the back of my fridge for a while. Bottle.
