UPDATED: FEB 2, 2011 This beer actually has a strange if not identifiable taste to it. This is a Vienna, and while not bad it is not great.
Aroma: Hmm, still smelling, still smelling...
Appearance: Darker color than most lagers, though lighter than most Viennas.
Flavor: Again, what is that flavor?
Palate: These SH beers have no body.
Overall Impression: Ah, I got it because I wanted a light beer before my DMB concert. Concert made up for it. mwelsh13 (499) - Maryland, USA - APR 10, 2009
A middle of the road lager. Nothing special. Very light in body, too dry for the style. Bit watered down. Suttree (6484) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - MAR 29, 2009
I was surprised how much I liked this one. I’m generally not a huge fan of viennas, but this one as nicely bold and assertive. Nice mix of caramel malt and and a dryish, hoppy finish. BeerHawk (1810) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - MAR 25, 2009
Bottle. Poured amber with a creamy off-white head that left light lace. Subdued aroma of malts and hints of hops. The flavor found fruits with a light hop/malt mix. Medium body that is sweat upfront and slightly bitter in the ending. Wheat aftertaste. SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - FEB 28, 2009
12oz bottle. Amber with a lasting head. Yeasty dough, lagerish, and lightly hoppy aroma. Toasty malt flavors with some sweet carame, and orange hoppy flavors. Medium-light body. Cool fruity flavors in a crisp and lightly hoppy lager, though it’s a bit sweet.

12 oz bottle purchased from Woody’s in Cool Springs. Poured a clear gold color with a two finger bubbly white head. The aroma was grain and earth. The flavor was malt, with a bit of citrus and grass. This was an enjoyable beer. The body makes for an easy drinker, and the flavor is somewhat bland, but non-offensive. Schroppfy (2360) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - JAN 14, 2009
Lighter in color than other viennas - that’s for sure. Similar slight flowery/lager/grainy stink as others. Very drinkable. Fresh seeming. Good body even when warm.

Bottle thanks to Butters. Slightly hazy orange-red with a very creamy finger of white head. Aroma is faint, lightly malty taste of caramel and bitter with a lasting hoppiness. beerbill (3619) - Laurel, New York, USA - JAN 6, 2009
12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with dkachur. Pours a hazy amber with a moderate yellow/white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left light lace. Mild aroma of malt along with a few notes of orange. The flavor is again mild malt with just a bit of orange. A pleasant fresh bread flavor emerges in the aftertaste and lingers for a few seconds beyond the swallow. Mild-medium bitterness. biznizness (1128) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 20, 2008
Had this on tap at the Brickhouse in Davidson. I see they are bottling now, which is cool. V and I visited the pub in Charlottesville last year. Enjoyed this lager.
