US backlog 2012. Draught at Monticello Heritage Harvest Festival Sep 2012. Easy drinking mid-spectrum lager with a fruitier malt touch and inoffensive hops. Pleasant enough to wash down the quality harvest fare, else forgettable.

Bottle from TWM Sterling - catching up on old ratings from Oct/Nov 2012 timeframe. Will add a review, eventually...

Pours a clear gold with a small white head. Smells of crackers, biscuits, grass. Taste is mildly bitter and sweet - biscuit, hint of lemon, bitter herbs.

Poured from 12 oz bottle. Off white head that dissipates quickly. Hop aroma with mild malt flavor. Ok finish. Not too bad

Off white head on the pour, but it didn’t last at first; but held up after it warmed a bit. Light amber body is very appealing. The aroma is light spicy and floral hops with a decent bready malt... Also a touch of green apples. Flavor isn’t quite as pronounced on the swallow with the above, but it is balanced to sweet up front with a honey-like flavor. A touch of bitterness in the finish and aftertaste is most welcome to help balance out the sweetness. Also a touch of herbal hop flavor at the finish and aftertaste. Prickly carbonation and light but not watery body typical of lighter lagers. Overall, not a bad beer!

Golden amber color. Aroma is malty with a slight hint of spicy hops. Taste has some biscuitiness and a slight malt sweetness. Otherwise it is a pretty clean. Nice dry crisp finish with just enough bitterness to balance it out.

Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Sweet toffee malts and herbal hops. Not that good.

I concur, is this pronounced, "homo lager"? Interesting. Drsilverworm sent me this as an extra -- many thanks, sir! Pours an instantaneous orange juice color with a brim off-white head. Smells straightaway of flour dough. Really, flour dough? I also detect juniper berries, hop oil and citrus. Tastes citrusy with an underlying malt bite by mid-palate and reasonable bitterness and busicuit chewiness by swallow. Peppery notes also detected. This is a drinkable, competently brewed Vienna but certainly nothing amazing.

12oz bottle, thanks to Andrew. To a spanish-speaker, would this be pronounced "homo lager"? Fun. Bottled 7/5/12. Clear golden color. Minimal white head. Sweet flavor, kinda zesty. Corn, hay, bread, pepper aroma. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Definitely a pretty alright lager. Some citrus. Good, but I liked the Starr Hill Pilsner much better. Andrew loves this, he bought a whole 12.
