Bottle courtesy of dcachur. Pours gold with a white head. Smells of dry malt, oranges. Tastes dry and grassy with a doughy finish. Suttree (6392) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - MAR 29, 2009
I was surprised how much I liked this one. I’m generally not a huge fan of viennas, but this one as nicely bold and assertive. Nice mix of caramel malt and and a dryish, hoppy finish. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - OCT 7, 2009
Yellowish pour. White head. Grainy aroma but not all bad. Some faint hops too. Flavor is grainy, malty and slightly hoppy. KajII (800) - Macon, North Carolina, USA - JAN 1, 2010
UPDATED: JUL 11, 2011 Bottle. Poured a murky orange in color with a small white fizzy head that was fully diminishing and had poor lacing. The aroma was of sweet malts with a light citrus hop scent. It tasted bitter and rather malty at first and finished with a nice biter-sweet hoppy flavor that stuck around on the taste buds for and average amount of time. Mouthfeel was light to medium in body with and creamy yet dry texture with a soft carbonation. Overall a great lager with a nice mix of maltiness and bitterness. (Old BA rate - bottle)
Poured with a fairly generous finger of creamy white head; pretty solid retention and some lacing; lightly hazy light orange-rust color. Lightly malty; nutty; bit of yeastiness. Maltiness shows up first; a little earthy; pretty clean and basic. Mediumish MF; a little carbonation sneaks in but would have expected some more interesting feel to it; just kinda slid by without much notice. Pretty good as it tasted solid and was refreshing enough. Overall, not a bad brew at all and I could see this as a macro-drinking friend converter

light coppery bronze hue. fizzy. white to off-white head. decent maltiness, but not much complexity. then again, it’s not exactly going for complexity, either. some nice, crispy bready/cracker taste with enough hops to balance but not much more. way more presence here than any of the typical lagers out there, but not the depth of character of some of the better micros or imports. Bottle: pours a slightly reddish color with a very light tan head. Aroma is malty sweetness.. It’s flavor is super sweet, like it should be. Not my favorite style, but it’s very good. Not the best Vienna lager. Darkmagus82 (2302) - - JUL 20, 2014

Poured from bottle into pint glass
Appearance – Pours a light amber/golden color with a thin white head. The head fades fast to leave very little lacing.
Smell – Mainly of bread and some yeast aromas as well. Mixed with this is a somewhat sweet caramel aroma with lighter hop aromas of floral nature.
Taste – A lightly toasted flavor meets the tongue initially. There are light sweet notes of fruit; citrus and some peach and apricot. As the taste advances a light hoppy flavor comes to the tongue. These flavors take the taste to the end and leave a rather pleasant semi sweet/ slightly hoppy flavor on the tongue.
Mouthfeel –The body is on the average side as well as the carbonation level. Both are quite fitting and appropriate for the flavors of the beer.
Overall – Easy to drink, but again nothing to special. Good flavors, but nothing to go out of the way for. ludhaber (126) - Massachusetts, USA - MAR 22, 2015
March madness 2015. The beer is well balanced and is pretty tasty. What is missing for me is a greater grain complexity. The noble hops flavor does not come through. Maverick34 (3239) - New York, USA - DEC 31, 2013
12 oz bottle. Poured brownish - characteristic amber/malty sweetness and some light hop finish. Ok.
