Draft in Alabama. If there ever was a perfect looking beer this is it. Perfect color, clarity and super lasting head. Sweet nose is light sweetness at first.. but that disappears. Nice body for the abv. Flavor is very sweet malty with some vanilla. Maple syrup is obvious. Overall an interesting unique take on this style.

UPDATED: OCT 30, 2017 Dark maroon with a little hint of red. Roasted nuts and maple nose. Overall a good seasonal beer but a little sweet for my liking. Great for a cold fall/winter afternoon

Draught @ Jojo's Restaurant and Taphouse, Frederick, MD. Pours slightly hazy dark copper brown with small off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with notes of caramel. Roasty and malty flavour with notes of caramel and maple syrup and nuts. Slightly acidic and estery aftertaste. A decent Brown Ale.

Draft at Whole Foods. Hazy caramel colored. Nose was hops, caramel malt, mild maple. Some vanilla in the flavor, like a mapled up nutty, hoppy, earthy brown ale.

JDBaker11058 (2351) - Maryland, USA - APR 30, 2017
appearance: clear amber brown, creamy tan head. aroma: toasted malts, caramel, maple syrup, maybe some toasted nuts. taste: as the aroma indicates, with some dark fruit, vanilla, and earthy hops. finish: average palate, smooth, with lingering but not overly sweet maple notes. notes: A pleasant surprise. Good flavors that easily could have gone too heavy or sweet, but stayed nice and drinkable instead. Draft at Gilly’s in Rockville, Maryland.

EKGoldings (668) - Radford, Virginia, USA - NOV 26, 2016
On tap, Sharkeys Radford. I’m impressed with this one - Some English character but maple flavor is on there. Smooth, balanced flavor, easy to drink, If I wasn’t interested in tasting other beers I’d have another.
