Refrigerated 75 Cl brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Hazy golden with small white head. Aroma is herbal, medium watery body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is herbal, estery, bready, and buttery. Travlr (24841) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - APR 16, 2015

Bottled. Pouted yellow. Hints of wheat and bananas, kind of cereal grainy too a bit underwhelming. ilovedarkbeer (2741) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JAN 10, 2015
Pours a hazy straw color with a foamy white head. Notes of white peach, wheat, faro, and lemons. jackl (8071) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 7, 2014
Keg @ Starr Hill. Hazy straw color with a small head. Looks like a cloudy cider. The nose is full of corn. Cornbread, some sweet marshmallow. Slices deli turkey. Taste of apple butter and more cornbread. Sort of slick and oily. Sweet pear. Medium body, soft carb. Sort of strange.

Aroma: It has a pale malt and wheat nose, with some citrus and grains
Appearance: It pours a cloudy golden color with a white head and some decent lace
Flavor: Flavor-wise, I got some decent wheat, grains, spice, and a dry, citrusy finish
Palate: The body is light-medium, with a plus carbonation, and an okay mouthfeel
I thought this was an okay beer. I wasn’t sure what to expect, so my expectations weren’t exceeded nor was it much worse than I expected. It’s fine
Tastes almost like a pilsner... Not what I was expecting, and also not very good. Fruitiness comes in on the tail end, which is the only redeeming quality. DrinkinWell (389) - - JAN 11, 2014
Pours light translucent yellow with little head. Sweet lemony citrus aromas. Tastes of orange, lemon, honey, with a few subtle sour notes, like a hint of grapefruit. A very good "light" beer. Otherwise, it’s just kind of average. Damico (3147) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 12, 2013
Pours lemon and a bit hazy with a big white head and some decent lacing. The aroma and flavor both bring lemony notes, fresh crisp malts, and some tame hop bittering at the end, as it would seem appropritate in the German tradition. bartlebier (3982) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - JUL 4, 2013
US backlog 2012. Draught at Monticello Heritage Harvest Festival Sep 2012.
1 of 3 Starr Hill options in their segregated Monticello beer cot, a rather bland imperial lager behaving like an ale. Grainy, shyly going over in mild fruit notes, just enough hops to make it pleasant. Served its purpose to wash down the 20+ exotic varieties of tomatoes and peppers. So this is what you get when you implement a president’s dabbling "no receipt for brewing,”...now on to how presidential brews evolved over 2 centuries with Obama’s honey ale...
