Cask (gravity) @ GBBF 10, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.

Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, fruity. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, orange, peel bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100803]

12oz bottle shared. Murky orange-tan. Thin oily head laces the rim of the glass. Rich, thick, heavy caramel hop aroma. Pretty solid beer, very clean and spot on style-wise. Somewhat soapy and resinous, quite a balanced IPA, with some solid malt tones submerged in the orange. lemon hop wash. Pretty nice.

Bottle. Pours a clear light amber orange with a thinner white head with no lacing. Grapefruity and a little dank, more citrus hops, and a dryness as well in the aroma. Flavor continues with the citrus hops, with a nice hop ’burn’, cracker and biscuit light malts, and very focused on the hop presence for the most part. Dry finish, and bright carbonation is nice on a lighter body for the style. Solid IPA, and punches at a higher hop flavor without a huge IBU number.

A fairly dry IPA that wears its cascade roots on its sleeve. Really the only thing detectable in both the nose and flavor is the familiar citrus tang of cascade hops. Not that that is a bad thing just something that has become a bit cliche in recent years. I would still buy it again but would pass over it if more exciting options were available.

Cloudy orange/amber, slightly smokey taste, bitter bite, semi sweet. Fair $1.59/12oz at Boca Total Wine & More

Bottle. Pours a quasi-opaque honey-amber color w/ a light off-white head. Aromas of citrus and a hint of pine immediately apparent to the nose. Analogous flavors w/ a tinge of caramel finish. For an IPA, it is not brutal on the palate and actually goes down rather easily. Of course, medium bodied w/ signature IPA bitterness. A nice brew.

very nice IPa from the six pack in Dc. Can be alittle metallic but alll in all very well balanced. Nice hops aroma, golden color and anice finish

Pours an orange amber color that’s slightly cloudy in the glass. Aroma is a really great citrus & pine aroma. Flavor is a fairly straightforward citrus bitterness with a touch of mint mixed in. Overall it’s a nice sipping IPA with some decent flavor and gorgeous bouquet.

chickenflea (351) - Oviedo, Florida, USA - OCT 20, 2010
The beer pours an amber orange color with good head retention and lacing. Smell is light citrus and with a h hint of earthiness. Taste follows the nose. Very lightly malted. Overriding dimension is a dry hoppiness with some pepper, earthiness and light wet tobacco. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and drinkability is average. It’s dryness had me ready for another style after just one beer. A solid IPA. More in the English style.

jjuf1853 (1302) - Land O Lakes, Florida, USA - SEP 23, 2010
Draft at IBG (Lutz, FL). Pours a clear copper amber color with a beige head. This is a good IPA with a nice balance between the hops and malt. Good bitterness in the finish. The 7.2% is just the right amount for and IPA.
