Light copper color with a creamy head. Light nose and perfectly hopped. Love it. mandzirm (4) - Saint Augustine, Georgia, USA - NOV 5, 2011 does not count
Underrated. Hoppy, yet smooth. Bit of a brown ale type finish. A very pleasant surprise. durhamlou (13) - - JAN 13, 2013
I was surprised that this beer was so darn good. I never heard of the brewery, but this IPA is worth finding. Great maltiness and the right amount of hop for my taste. Smooth enough to be a session brew but it aint...bottoms up beer lovers. SPDickerman (1239) - Texas, USA - NOV 14, 2013
Pours clear dark orange with a large off-white head. Smells of citrus and pine. Taste is bitter, lots of resinous pine and hints of citrus. Medium-bodied with a slick texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Starr Hill Northern Lights finishes with a soft, tingly bitterness. davidajensen (206) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - MAR 29, 2009
Nice IPA. This is a well rounded beer with a pleasant flowery aroma, a cloudy appearance with a thin head. The flavor is nice and hoppy but remains a good session beer.

This is a nice, balanced, malt-forward IPA. Malt flavor is sweet. Hops are present, although I’m having trouble discerning whether citrus/pine/resin, and good bitterness. Not a bad beer at all. Kinz (3786) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - OCT 31, 2004
On cask at CAH Innsbrook. Deep brownish red, small head, but good for a cask beer, left nice lacing. Pleasant hop aroma, both floral and earthy. Flavor was well balanced, biscuit malts melding into an enjoyable hop finish, again floral and earthy. A very enjoyable beer. obguthr (6432) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - DEC 8, 2009
Honeycomb and orange peel nose. Cloudy orange, medium yellow head, good lacing. Grapefruit flavor predominates, with a more bitter grapefruit peel and orange peel in the finish. Well blended celery notes appear as the glass warms. Well hopped with citrusy hops. Tastefully maltier when warm. Great IPA, not heavy, and quite bitter. unclemattie (4358) - Georgia, USA - JUN 16, 2010
12oz twist-off bottle. Amber color, off-white head. Nice color. Nice nose. Aromas of fruit, citrus, CascadeHops, Munich malts, a touch of wheat. Flavor is not like the smell. Sweet caramel malt, bold sharp hop bitterness. Very well made American IPA. I will look for this one again.

Love this beer. Pours golden with a medium head. Aroma is big citrus and pine. Taste is citrus, grapefruit, and pine. Medium to light body. Nice big hoppy flavors and aromas all around.
