Clear, amber/gold appearance with a small white head and little lacing. Muted, honeyed aroma with little depth. Uncomplicated sweet, grainy, flavor with hints of soft fruit. Medium-to-light bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel, with a short lived finish. tia (2160) - Sandston, Virginia, USA - DEC 16, 2011
Bottle. Smells sweet. Almost mapley. Amber color. Tastes sweet with a dry stop. Highly carbonated. rangerred (989) - Johnson City, Tennessee, USA - DEC 13, 2011
12oz bottle poured into a pint glass.
Pours a hazy medium brown with a 1.5 finger head. Decent head retention.
Aroma is sweet grain. Pretty one dimensional.
The taste is much like the smell. Sweet grains dominate the palate with a bit of breadyness. Bitterness is fairly assertive but no hop flavors. Mouthfeel is medium to full.
This beer is just ok. I thought the flavor was lacking and could have used more maltiness.
