UPDATED: NOV 27, 2009 ***Re-rate*** Bottle... Smells like corn, spent mash and honey. Cloyingly sweet and grainy tasting. Not a good experience. This follows a bottle of Victory Hop Devil so maybe my palate is tainted, but I’m thinking not. My olfactory system is fine. Bleh. ***Original Rating = 3.2*** Bottle (#169 of 300)… Clear, deep golden lager with a small, creamy, white head. The aroma consists mostly of honey and pale grains. Full-bodied with a lightly creamy mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Sweet, nutty flavor with gobs of caramel and toffee. Lengthy sweet finish. Bottle courtesy of redlight!

Bottle from Capone’s. Pours hazy golden straw colored with 1-finger white head. Nose is maibocky, with caramel malt, fruit, milf spice, and hopscitrus. Tastes hopcitric, with grainy pale malt, more noble hops and tangerine flavor late, and a smooth finish. sebletitje (10252) - Enghien, BELGIUM - DEC 24, 2010
Couleur ambre/orange, mousse blanche.
12oz bottle, thanks to Andrew. Bottled 11/26/12. Mostly clear orange color. Minimal bubbly white head. Not great retention or lace. Medium-lighter body. Lighter carbonation, kind of crisp. Bready malt, light fruitiness, light hint of citrus.. All very faint and brief, though. Overall, this is kind of boring and uninspiring. Light bitterness, some sweet. Not terrible, but not really good. downender (8767) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - NOV 18, 2011
On tap at the Capital Alehouse (downtown), Richmond VA 9/11/12011. Reddish amber with a decent, off-white head. Sweet, marmalade and red berry aroma. Flavour had some caramel, more fruit and a moderately bitter finish. Ok.
