Pours a muddy reddish orange. Aromas of berries and citrus. Taste is actually a bit tart. A mix of cranberry and orange peel. Blight pomegranate with very little honey essence. A bit ipof a vitamin like mineral aftertaste. TURDFERGUSON (4058) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - DEC 14, 2012
From the bottle at the meadery. Pours reddish pink with no head, minimal legs. Nose is heavy red fruits, cranberry, pomegranate, light cherry, citrus. Similar flavor, mild spice, but mainly fruity and with light honey kick. Well balanced like all of their meads. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - OCT 11, 2012
Bottle. Pours purplish brown with zero head to it. Smells of fruit and honey, with some spice to it that combines in a way I did not expect, almost skunky. The taste is amazing - has a substantive heat from the jalapenos which is offset nicely with some sweetness from the fruit. This is my first foray into Meads, but I’m very intrigued so far... pantanap (3366) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 19, 2012
Cranberry orange. Sampled at the source while vacationing in north carolina... Pours an orrange reddish brown hue, leggy....Citrus and cranberry upfront with a backing honey sensation...
Lightly sweet hints of tart orangey citrus and pomegranate-like. honey was present but not overly so. Thinner than medium bodied. Ok compared to some of the others.
