Bottle from Gurthnar, many thanks for sharing it. Brown colored beer with medium beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, black berries, hints of coffee. Taste, roasted malt, some berries, caramel. Very sweet beer. Karol (973) - SLOVAK REPUBLIC - AUG 23, 2013
Bottled. Many thanks to Gurthnar! Aroma minimal of roasted malt. Taste is superb! Dried plums! My favorite dried fruit! Love it! It is a eurolager type of flavored water, I know, but damn it tastes great! :D

Bottle. Aroma sweet sugary and caramel, light glue. Dark brown colour. Taste is really sweet, simple, caramel. Light light fruity. Not too good, but finally a drinkable Melnik. MisoW (3694) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - AUG 23, 2013
Bottle. Pours brown, beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, bit sourish, black current. Taste is roasted malt, very sweet, blackcurrant. Senka (1097) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUL 18, 2013
50cl screw-top bottle. Rather fresh. Unfortunately, they now call it a beer-drink, not a beer. It has quite some additives to it: coloring agent, pasteurizers, sweeteners etc. A big disappointment for me. I used to like Stary Melnik selection, but I can not say that now. I would advise you not to purchase more than 1 bottle. For me, this drink was on of the worst drinks I had this year. visionthing (5595) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 12, 2013
50cl bottle at Svevan (road cafe) near Tallinn. Pours very dark with an off-white head. Mild malty aroma with caramel, dark fruits and hint of roasted malt. Quite sweet but still fairly balanced. Easy drinkable and went well with the food.
