Bottle from EE shop in Bedford. Dark brown with a bit of carbonation. Not a lot of aroma, some sweetish chocolatey malt. Very sweet taste, with a mouthwashy aftertaste reminiscent of hop extract. Having said this, it’s certainly drinkable, and a damn sight better than their execrable pale lager. In a way I kind of enjoyed it. Bottle at Appellation Wines tasting. Clear brown body with a thin beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of tea bag, earth and brown bread. Flavour of sweet malt, treacle, toffee and stewed apple. Medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Light fizz. Sweet and chewy. RichardGretton (4770) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - APR 26, 2016
Bottle. Blackish beer with a good head and a reddish tinge. The aroma is sugary and malty with some yeastiness. The flavour is very malty with a sweet fortified wine feel and some roasted bitterness. Overall a typical Russian style of beer but it is a bit too sweet for my liking.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl.
Appearance - deep amber with a decent head.
Nose - caramel and nuts.
Taste - sweet caramel and light biscuit.
Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a finish that is just too sweet.
Overall - grew on me slightly.
