Bottle 50cl. from Hayfood supermarket, Utrecht. Poured into a shaker. Clear pale golden, small foamy white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing; aroma grain, sugar, vegetables; quite flat taste, medium sweet and slightly bitter, grainy, metallic; bit more bitterness in a sweetbitter finish; light body, watery texture, flat carbonation; weak even for a pale lager. Bottle - pale golden, fizzy lager. Not much going on there. A rather poor example of a beer. TorbenJensen (1572) - Valby, DENMARK - SEP 22, 2015
This lager is very pale and looks almost sich. However, it has a formidable and persistent foam. Its aroma is almost nil, only a little weak hops can be felt. But the taste is quite different (and good) experience. It is malty, even if a specific color indicates the contrary, a little weak, and its hop aroma is due to the fact not particularly bitter hop to end. Malty sweetness has taken over in this lager and has a very clean and easy character where the malt really have room to unfold with faint caramel notes. Now pale malt not exactly the malt type who sell the most distinctive flavor notes in beer, so it’s actually a pleasure to be able to taste how to clean pale malt basically tastes. Some may call it light and sweet, but I welcome its lightness makes it very easy drinkable and thirst-quenching. jamaty (2255) - Madrid, SPAIN - JUN 8, 2015
Dorada clara. Aroma malteado. Sabor malteado ligeramente frutal. Bebible y refrescante.

Sampling them side by side, this was not any different. Maybe slightly darker in color. If you try hard enough, you will notice same malts. Go and get some lemonade instead. Sorry. Erzengel (9490) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - JAN 29, 2014

Orange colour, sweet, grainy. A bit flat in aroma. Grainy. A bit more bitter till the end. Typical Lager. As expected.
Stary Melnik, which means "Old Mill" and this beer "Stary Melnik iz Bochonka" (Old Mill from a barrel) are the same beer. This cute little barrel bottle came out 5-6 years ago, while I was working in Moscow and people liked it.
Pours a clear, light amber color with a full head that’s gone pretty quickly. Not much aroma; sweet malt with notes of paper and grass. Flavor is not bad. Malty sweetness with a hoppy edge. Short, bitter finish. Medium, creamy mouthfeel, good carbonation. It doesn’t suck. Dorqui (2261) - Brescia, ITALY - DEC 19, 2013
Bottled 0,50L. Pale golden color, nearly absent bubbly and with a good foamy head persistance. Pale and gaunt cereals and alcohol scent. Poor and unbalanced taste, simple malty and soft hearbaceus notes. Bitter strong end. RuneStumo (2710) - Haugesund, NORWAY - OCT 8, 2013
