Bottle. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Pale yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Short but nice light bitter finish. Watery palate. Actually a well-balanced nice pale lager. afireinside96 (923) - Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 10, 2008
pale yellow with one finger of fluffy white head. smells decent for a beer that only cost $1.50 for a 500ml bottle. nose of piney hops and some malt presence too. flavor is better than expected also. light malt sweetness with some cereal grains. finishes with a taste of blood or iron. very watery texture. overall I can’t complain about it due to the cost/quality ratio and it is much better than its "Lager" dubbed cousin. estpiwo (1319) - ESTONIA - NOV 24, 2007
0,5L special bottle. Low aroma of hops and malt. Carbonated, flavor is more malty than hoppy. Aftertaste is short with some hoppy tones. ALLOVATE (3056) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUN 2, 2007
It pours the pale end of gold, but so bright and so translucent it sparkles in the lights. A flurry of bubbles raise up furiously and hold well a loose fluffy, audible crescendo of white that manages a good deal of lace-work. Clean, grassy, dried-up leaves and dried herbs on the nose like chives, tarragon and thyme, not much else. Inside the mouth it is a gritty, dry mix of pale malts, rather dusty, leaning on pasty but clear enough in flavour to be tasty - this is all upfront as the tail has something different in mind. The liquor mineral-like, and salty. A little zingy, zippy, I don’t know what from, the finish is the same, a little tangy, sour malt and hops down south. Not much length bar the dusty malt flavours, it could easily be sessionable. Palate remains reasonably clean throughout, it does go down with ease as it is easy on the palate. The herbal mix in the aroma grows as the beer empties, coriander a new addition - it does some herbal soup. I can’t say this was bad at all, goes down unhindered. I could easily get drunk off it a bonus. A Russian beer, at the northern end. bluevegie (3073) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - APR 22, 2007
Clear pale golden body with a short but lasting white head. Corn, a bit of butter and alcohol on the nose. Thin in body with a bit of burn from the alcohol and not too much else.

Whitish head, fast reduced to rim with shards of lace, over golden beer. Chalk, some sweet malts, milk-ripe grain. Bit of toasted malts, pale malts and a sweetish hint at corn. Again a beer where taste is notoriously absent (the hops must have missed my bottle). Patisserie sweetness, diluted with mineral water - and a drop of two of alcohol: more sweet. Light bodied, a bit grist slickness, and alcohol hints in the finish. Pff. I cannot understand they won’t make something really "strong balanced", not to mention strong hearty for their Siberian winters... Papsoe (25059) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 6, 2006
(Bottle 50 cl) Pale golden with a small, white head. Weak, malty nose. Medium body mainly dominated by alcohol. Lightly bitter, dry finish. 030206 Dixen (1465) - Flagstaff, Arizona, USA - AUG 9, 2005
Weak nose, with hints of light hops. Clear golden body, small white head. Slight sweet corn flavor, some light hops. dortmunder (961) - Herdecke, GERMANY - JUN 14, 2005
Bottled. Sweetish aroma with light notes of both hops and malt. Sweetish grainy taste. Lightly dry and hoppy finish. Very bland and one-dimensional. Nothing offensive about this, though. Kinnaj15 (275) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 29, 2005
Pale yellow with white head. Some bitterness in the aroma. Taste is slightly sweet.
