Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkelgoldenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig süß, leicht alkoholisch. Geschmack süß malzig, getreidig, leicht alkoholisch. Erzengel (9779) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - APR 20, 2014
The beer starts (as expected) grainy-malty and sweet. Also sharp, which shouldn’t occur at 6,6%...
The mainpart is sharp-malty, unround and not easy drinkable. The aftertaste is malty-sweet, sharp-unround and grainy. MarkoNm (3014) - Novo mesto, SLOVENIA - APR 4, 2014
Not a brew I can recommend... --> 1/8/1/2
UPDATED: JUL 20, 2015 Pours an orangey-golden color which is topped with an average slightly off-white head.
There is a nice biscuity and malty aroma with a touch of alcohol smell to go with it.
The taste is strong, but not in an unpleasant way, quite bittery with some caramel taste.
A slight metal aftertaste, but still very decent. MichaelAwesome (6546) - Wanne-Eickel, GERMANY - MAR 20, 2014
One of the better russian piwos so far. Thick with balanced carbo and some strong, more alcohol oriented moments. Bit of caramel and coffee in the back. McTapps (6984) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - MAR 18, 2014
Beer pours out of the bottle in a clear deep golden colour with steady low head and smooth body. Aroma of hops and straw. Taste of hops, straw, caramel, honey, berries and mild fruits. Very nice and easy to drink, enjoyed it.

(bottle) pours a clear deep golden colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of caramel, light floral hops and pepper, slightly buttery and oxidized, with a hint of nettles and marzipan. flavour is quite alcoholic and estery, only slightly sweet, with notes of caramel and raisins in the dry finish. heavy-bodied with average carbonation. WillemsUrenkel (2088) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - NOV 22, 2013
Interesting bottle design. Pours dark golden in the glass, nice white head, a lot of CO2. More neutral on the nose, maybe a little bit to marzipan. Starts strong, malt and a sweetness like honey cake. The 6,8% alcohol are present with mid herb. Not easy to drink. Later the corntypical scratching in the throat and sticky sweet. Not so bad as expected but below average. (10. Nov. 2012)

Couleur dorée, belle mousse blanche épaisse. Arome caramel et houblon. Gout assez amère. L’amertume reste sur la langue. Pas trop mal. deanso (10287) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - OCT 7, 2013
50cl bottle from a Polish shop in the Hague.
Thick creamy white head. Clear pale golden pour. Not sure why they put bock in the title as it’s not even close. It’s a thin bodied pilsner. edpeg (911) - Berlin, GERMANY - SEP 26, 2013
Golden yellow clear body, with medium frothy head, sets quickly. Aromas sweet malts, grains, hay, floral herbs. Palate is medium full-bodied slick, carbonation mouthful, lively and soft. Taste in the middle is sweet malty, some hops and hints of dry end. Finish is balanced, little warming from alcohol, sweet malty and little floral herbs, plums and tartness. It’s pretty decent bock for ABV, but only still average overall but drinkable.
