Growler. Pours a clear copper with a small white head. The aroma is very interesting. This was a cool experiment. It’s a basic concept of well balanced malts and hops but the normal American pale notes aren’t here. The hops are earthy and spicy with a little juniper, wood and herbs. Malts are a little biscuity and doughy. This reminds me almost of a pilsner, but doesn’t have the dryness and crispness. There are also very faint fruity notes in the finish, reminding me this is a pale ale. We’ve got a pretty drinkable and clean beer. Nice change of pace.

Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of biscuit, bread, yeasty notes, some white fruit into a bit of orange, grass into a bit of spice, lemony notes in there. Taste was a mix of caramel, bread, yeast, some orange into a bit of fruit, some earth into a bit of lemon, finishing slightly sweet, slightly bitter.

On tap at the brewery. Belgian notes, noble hops, mild bitterness. Spicy, earthy and floral.

On tap at Hops and Pie poured a hazy yellow with a small lasting white head. Aromas of straw and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, lemon zest and light earthiness with a crisp dry lingering lemon zest finish.

At Denver fire station no. 26 with Stephen. Pours clear light burgendy. Aroma is thin earthy hops that are mildly smooth. Taste is soda sugar, earthy hops that are silky, ends with a munches malt note and some smooth hops.

On tap at the brewery. Pour is clear orange with a small white head and great lacing. Snappy, orange marmalade, light grass, biscuity, light caramel, and grapefruit peel in the aroma. Taste is orange peel, grass, huge grapefruit - vibrant and concentrated - bread, light caramel, and citrus with a medium bitter finish. Slick mouthfeel with high carbonation. Pretty tasty pale ale.

Tap at the brewery - an APA with all euro hops, focusing mostly on the noble hop character - malt character is simple, I assume to simply showcase the hops, which this does well - quite a bit of grassy and spicy saaz in here, along with some floral notes, and a mild citric tang - the malt, however, is a little limp and kind of sweet - not as crisp or snappy as it really ought to be to make these hops pop - okay.
