bought a 6er of this one bc I absolutely love Station 26s Tangerine Cream, was hoping this had the same magic, it did not, not a bad beer but definitely not as special as the Tangerine Cream. Decent but kind of had a musky barnyardy straw smell and taste
not great snoworsummer (6503) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - AUG 22, 2017
Draft at the brewery. ABV is 4.5% Pours clear bright gold with a fizzy white head. Tastes like wheat, musky straw, some lemon, and grassy hops. Light body and low/medium carbonation. Smells like wheat, lemon, musky straw, and faint hops. onceblind (11474) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUL 17, 2017
Clear brilliant golden hue under a thin white spotty cap. Delightful bright lemon zesty Jose with a cooling bready wheaty backbone. Smooth crisp flavor that’s lemon rind/zesty, not acidic or overly citrusy, on a clean pale and wheaty bright body. Crisp and semidry and softly lemony. Kinda delightful especially on a hot day. jcnielsen (3416) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 2, 2015
On tap at Station 26 with adnielsen. Pours a yellow color with white head. Lemon, citrus, wheat flavors. A nice summer, not too flavorful, but alright. cubs (10745) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - AUG 1, 2015
On tap @ Station 26 with jcnielsen. Clear yellow appearance with a white head. Lightly doughy yeast, lemon, light grass, slightly spicy aroma. Light body. A touch tart. Hops are a touch dank. Somewhat spicy. A little soapy. Light fruit. Not bad.
3fourths (9386) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUL 7, 2015
Draft at the brewery. Mostly clear gold with a short white head. Juicy and fruity aroma and flavor, coming across like Juicy Fruit bubble gum, lemon zest (which is an ingredient), lemon meringue, wheat malt, turning more towards a basic coriander / soap effect when it warms. Light bodied, citric, effervescent, carbonic acid and citric acid playing well, invigorating the palate with a Champagne-like tingle. Carbonation is fluffy, while the finish is juicy, airy, and only lightly bitter. Pretty fun little beer here, shows well the Lemondrop hop character, and though the lemon zest is quiet to begin, once it breathes and warms it becomes more dominant and smells less authentic and more soapy, the effect you get in some Witbier. ajnepple (7692) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - JUN 8, 2015
On tap at Colorado Plus. Clear yellow appearance with a lacy white head. Aroma lemon zest, toasted grains, bread and light hops. Similar flavor, somewhat refreshing citrus wheat flavor that is light and easy to drink. Ratman197 (15866) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JUN 4, 2015
On tap at Colorado Plus poured a clear gold with a small lingering white head. Aromas of wheat, straw and light lemon zest. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of wheat and light citrus with a smooth dry finish. notalush (6002) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - MAY 23, 2015
Tap at the brewery - a hoppy-ass american wheat here - the use of lemondrop hops adds a quenching lemony/citric punch - wheat malt has a mild sweetness and creamy texture, bringing a finish the has the.overall impression of tangy lemon cream - nice warm weather beer - now.if only the.warm weather would actually come.
