330 ml bottle from Les Vignerons. served in a shaker glass. Sunrise orange, perfectly clear, with a nice, creamy white head. Quite hoppy aroma, can definitely smell a Simcoe presence, but it’s not that prominant. Little nuttiness, mild caramel/toffee presence, slightly toasted malts, some almonds/peanuts notes. Initial bitter punch upfront, very dry, but it works perfectly. More hoppy (herbal esp.) compared to the aroma, light citrusy edge, tiny caramel malt backbone. Very American I’d say, bitter and hoppy, almost going into the IPA territory. Average carbonation, medium body, creamy texture. Well executed hoppy amber ale, I definitely dig it. mzaar (3742) - Varberg, SWEDEN - MAY 9, 2014
On tap @ Bir&Fud, Rome. Pours clear amber with a froathy off white head. Aroma: caramel, citrus, grass, and resin, Flavour: Tropical fruit, caramel, grass and pine. Medium to full bitterness. Oily mouthfeel, but at the same time somewhat watery. However, an enjoyable beer. fonefan (52351) - VestJylland, DENMARK - MAR 6, 2013

Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, flowers, pine, buttery hop notes, alcohol notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, hoppy, caramel, grassy, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Non mi è piaciuta, mi dicono che alla spina sia meglio, io l’ho trovata anonima e con una piccola infezione.

Bottle at Ma Che, Trastevere, Roma thanks to a certain brewer - 02/10/12.
Hazy amber with a big slightly off white head.
Caramel malts dominate the nose, hops, and a little raspberry.
Taste follows nose, malt forward, caramel, hops and a little background fruit.
Medium bodied with fine carbonation leading to a smooth finish, absolutely spot on in terms of the palate one of the best finishes from a bottle I’ve ever had.

Pours deep copper/amber as the style would suggest. Big white head recedes to a small one quickly but then hangs around for most of the beer. Nose is caramel, pine, wood, hay and leather. Taste is somewhat bland for most of the drink and only bitters out awkwardly in the finish. Mouthfeel is smooth, yet crisp. Medium to heavy body with a long aftertaste.
