341ml bottle. Pours pale yellow with a thin white head. Aromas of sweet malt, light straw, a very faint aroma of banana and apple juice, and bready yeast. Smells like a good Austrian lager. The taste is as expected, sweet malt, mineral water, and light fruit notes up front that leads into a maltier profile with a light floral note, and a more mineral notes in the finish. I like Steam Whistle pilsener, however...1) I can always buy a similar 500ml Euro-pilsener at a cheaper price 2) I have had some seriously bad luck with Steam Whistle bottles in the past in regards to skunked beer. Its good, but I usually toss my money elsewhere.

Sample from my dads glass. Aroma: lots of caramel and honey. App: clear yellow, minimal white head, no retention. Taste and palate: light body, light to medium sweetness, dry finish. Not much more. Overall: meh, as bad as I expected it to be.

3FG - 3 fired guys - a nice marketing stunt! Unfortunately the beer is rather average, just a lager, nothing to get excited about.

Poured from bottle. Aroma of dough and yeast. Pours a clear pale with white head. Taste is light bitter. Light body and thin texture. Not much to it, refreshing, but kind of boring.

Fat @ Brewpub, Toronto. Klar guldfrgad med ett vitt skum. Dofter av grs, rter och malt. Smaken r oerhrt ren och frisk, inte s konstigt med tanke p att len kommer direkt frn tillverkningen s att sga. Malt, frukt, grs och rter hittas.

Bottle at Tartu College cafeteria in Toronto. Bottled Aug 31 2015. Pours clear golden with loads of bubbles, and a white, fluffy head. The nose is, well, papery with some malt sweetness. Flavours similar, but less as papery, and some "not unpleasant" bitterness. Crisp but not overcarbonated. Okay for a macro pils.

It is a pilsner. Tastes like a pilsner, smells like a pilsner, looks like a pilsner, and is cold.

Draft, at the Boreal Collective opening in Toronto. Solid lager, tasty and crisp. Hoppier, stronger lager. Nice

0.341 bottle. Clear, gold color and a small, instantly-vanishing head. Aroma of DMS, metal, and delicate pale malts. Taste is sweet, delicately malty, DMS-y. Light body, thin texture, and average carbonation. Finish is buttery in flavor and quite long - the only good part of the beer. Overall a pale lager like many others, hard to call it a pilsner which it purports to be.
