"Ghost of Eyre" Pale ale with balanced hops and malt. The Ghost of Eyre Pale Ale has a well restrained crisp bitterness. The bitterness is offset by a caramel taste, as well as fruity and floral notes.

Actually not too bad a beer. However is brewed by Coles even though you wouldn’t know it by looking at the labelling. Very shifty.

Bought a six pack of this on special for 15 bucks and after drinking one beer I now wish I could return it and get my money back! As a member has previously commented, this is just mass produced swill that Coles has masqueraded to look like craft beer. For being pretty bland, it is actually quite offensive on the palate. Only buy this beer to share with a housemate who you dislike intensely and want them to move out.

An English pale ale? about as English as a kangaroo!
Seems like a cross between an Aussie pale and Euro lager.

Don’t get me wrong, it tastes ok. but balanced hops and malt - well there is a background maltiness but there’s also an unusual sweetness to it, which destroys any of the promised "crisp bitterness".

Not an English pale or Australian or American, but it would be fine chilled on a hot day so long as you can pick it up at a much lower than normal price.

Faint aroma of malts. Taste is fruity with some mild pine notes. Moderate malt base with a bit of caramel and something sweet, but not altogether unpleasant. Mildly bitter finish. Within its price range, not bad at all.

BB 31.10.16. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a two- to three-finger white frothy head that retained well and laced OK. Carbonation high with medium sized bubbles. Aroma subtly of sweet malt; no obvious hops. Taste of sweet light malt and maybe a hint of citrus; no real bitterness. Light body, watery and thin. Smooth, bland and crisp if cold and with a hint of a harsh tang on the finish. Very lager-like.

Large head medium carbonation amber pour aromas biscuit fruits plenty of malt note the flavours soapy lemon okay bitter citrus tends to watery biscuit the finish easy drinking pale but watery finish hampers the good tastes

Pale gold, no head. Smells a bit nasty and funky, more like a green bottle lager. A bit of caramel, grass, but watery and bland. Fuck you for cashing in on "craft beer" Liquorland - this is the second bottle of shit brewed "under licence" I’ve had tonight, with the awful promise of one more to come. Considering this is the same price as James Squire or Little Creatures there is absolutely nothing to recommend this shit.

had a good amber orange, but a little cloudy with moderate bubbles and minimal head. Had a fairly faint caramel smell, with a lightly sweet, lightly, lightly bitter with slightly caramel flavour. I found it to be light to medium bodied, with a lightly creamy texture and softly carbonated. A slightly bitter aftertaste which I like. Overall, for my palate, very moderately pleasing and would be easy to drink on a warm summer day, but lacking any complexity and interesting rich flavours to make me want to pursue this beer.

330ml bottle into schooner glass. Peppery sweet nose, even a touch of citrus. Pale amber beer with small white head. A lot of tiny bubbles rising. A bit watery. Finish is short with faint notes of caramel, pepper, lemon and lavender. Not bad, eminently drinkable.

Morboso (146) - AUSTRALIA - APR 19, 2015
Not overly complex but pretty good, enough of that piney hop aroma and bitterness to say "I am okay". I never read other reviews before rating but I am guessing this is pretty harshly criticised as being a macro, but it is actually pretty good within the price range.

Bland, boring and tastes of large scale brewing. Gave me a headache. Could not be bothered with a thoughtful description. Mass produced swill masquerading as a craft beer.
