650ml bottle pours a golden color with a finger and a half of white head that settles to leave only some spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is light fruits with some spice and yeasty notes. Taste is a light fruity and malty sweetness with a mild heat from the peppers and a mild hop bitterness finishing dry and yeasty. Medium bodied with decent carbonation. A pretty nice golden ale with a little extra kick to it. RumRunner101 (918) - Alberta, CANADA - JUL 21, 2014
Golden pour with white head. Aromas of banana bread, spicy yeast. Flavour has pale malts, black pepper, light citrus. Fairly noticeable pepper flavours providing some heat. Not overly spicy but definitely there through the finish. No Brett detectable. Meh, spicy beers typically don’t work for me. Also there’s a syrupy sweet malt quality that’s a little off putting. Bomber. Opaque yellow orange, firm white foam settles and lasts. Aroma of fruity yeast and spice. Fruity yeasty taste, some faint farmyard funk and even fainter spicy heat. Oily and slick, no bitterness. Average carbonation, lighter bodied, lightly hopped. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary) bcBelgianbrew (115) - , British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 25, 2014
Coriander, yeast, & citrus aromas. Has a long finish that ends in with a kick. It was a pleasant surprise. I loved the spice/chilli heat. I found it quite enjoyable and I’d drink it again. Worth a go if only for something you’ve never experienced before. cfrancis (3474) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 17, 2014
Pours a slightly cloudy straw yellow with a small white head. Aroma is slight yeast and slight pepper. Taste is some banana, yeast and a hint of pepper. So underwhelming when I saw New Belgium on the list.

Light bronze, spicy, rosemary and lots of pale malt. Good stuff, well balanced and spicy. pictoman (1148) - British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 10, 2014
Poured from 650mL bottle. Clear golden with white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast and light pepper. Same taste, light spicy. Medium body. Ferris (15906) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 9, 2014
Draft - Light birch syrup, peppercorn and spices with a bit of yeast. Clear gold with a decent white head. Nice and peppery, with only the slightest heat and a bit of soap. Pretty tasty. khays (89) - - JUN 1, 2014
Smells of hay, eatery, raspberry and perfumy. Pours clear golden colour with a thin white head a looks of high carbonation.
Slightly sweet, pepper, floral, earthy, bitter, ginger with a little bit of pear. Medium body, bitter spicy finish with lively carbonation.
Tastes different than anything else i have tried. They are trying to do something different and this won't be to everyone's tastes. It is to mine, the spiciness is great and it isn't astringent, but isn't like other beers I have tried, and I would like to taste more like it. stantheman (1079) - British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 1, 2014
On tap at Steamworks in Vancouver. A medium pale amber ale with a bit of white head. Not much detected on the nose. I will give the reader the taste description straight up. It’s a pronounced, bordering on overwhelming peppercorn bite. A nice concept, but more than a bit overdone for my taste. Should have been cut back by half at least. Luckily this was 4.5 oz on a paddle, so I didn’t have to work my way through a pint of it! 2.5.
