Bottle. Golden bodied with a short white head. Aroma is grassy hops, big grains, and soft lemon. Taste is biscuity malts, some lemony notes, grains, grassy hops and light honey. Floral hops come through as well. Body is light and crisp with moderate carbonation. Ends with more grassy and floral hops, lemon, biscuit and sweet malts, and strong grain. Draft at Craft. Clear light gold with white head that fizzes awat quickly. Nose is faitn pale malt, hopcitrus, Tastes watery, with mild pale malt and lemongrassy notes, but not much in nose or tongue here. LooseCannon (938) - Norfolk, Virginia, USA - MAY 31, 2009
12oz bottle. Pours clear golden in color with thin white head which does not last long. Aroma sweet and grain. Taste lite wheat and hops with clean finish. obxdude10 (2324) - Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 29, 2009
I wasn’t real impressed with this kolsch at all. It poured a clear and bright golden color, but of the white head that there at the start, not much of it was left after just a few sips. Of course there wasn’t any lacing happening around the glass either. The nose featured a slight hoppiness, but other than that a little bready note, there wasn’t much going on. Unfortuantely there wasn’t much happening in the flavors and body either. This kolsch was rather bland and uninteresting, with only some mild hoppy tones and a little more breadiness. This kolsch certainly missed the mark. Immy (1955) - Virginia Beach, USA - MAY 14, 2009
12 oz bottle. Clear yellow straw with a thin eggshell head. Nose is sweet grain and mild grass. An initial grassy hop bite disappears quickly, leaving a big pile of nothing for a finish. Light, inoffensive and swillable, but that’s it.

Clear with little to no head, watered down initial flavor, has an complex but weak finish, not enough to notice unless you are paying close attention. machfive55 (358) - Columbia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 27, 2009
This beer had a nice fruity presence too it, which was the biggest highlight. The aroma was lightly hoppy with sweet fruity, citrusy notes. The flavor was highly dominated by citrus fruitiness, maybe some hints of stawberry or kiwi, but fairly sweet overall and the hops did not come through on the flavor for me. 12 ounce bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Best before July 2009. Pours a clear pale straw color with a thin head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma is very nutty and earthy with light grass. Taste is pretty much the same... nutty, earthy with light fruity notes. A pretty odd one. Medium bodied, Birdiebeagle (958) - Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 7, 2009
Bottle Pours a light yellow with a large white head. Strong yeast aroma. Has a vey light taste. Lacks flavor and very watery/ Has a light body. Decent carbination. This one just lacks depth. Sarts out okay but there isn’t anything to back it up. SudsMcDuff (8429) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - MAR 29, 2009
has a good head on the pour .. has some nice background .. some stale cardboard aroma .. . bland ... goes down smooth but so simple .. . not instant gravy cool, more like just the water...
