On tap at Steamworks, Vancouver. Pale copper/gold, thin white head. Excellent hop, rather intense hop, but the structure is great. Great malt and creaminess, followed by a hit of intense bitter hops, faint grapefruit, but very intense. Full in mouth, not overly piney. Soft and full in mouth and then intense bitter finish. mgermani (1010) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 27, 2008
Pours a slightly hazy gold with a small lingering head. Aroma of fresh hops & sweet malt - nothing out of the ordinary. Tastes of canned peaches & astringent anglo-hops with a warm finish. Hops are grassy and fresh, and mask a bit of the otherwise obtrusive alcohol. Very tasty! Carbonation adds body to this otherwise thin beer, very crisp and for some reason, I wrote "buoyant" when I wrote my review down at the bar (this was my fourth beer of the evening, and my 6th that day). Dry, crisp, tasty. Nice IPA. Skinnyviking (9720) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 23, 2006
Small white but lasting head. Hazy yellow body. Lovely malt aroma. Bitter hops flavor. Well done. Onenote81 (1002) - Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA - MAY 1, 2012
Originally reviewed: 5/9/09. Came out a very deep gold with no head on top at all. All that was there was a thin ring around the edge. No lacing at all. Smells very bready and malty. Some citrus in there, but very grainy scent. Interesting.
Mouthfeel is crisp and clean. Flavor is bitter from a nice hop presence. Piney, slightly spicy flavor. This was wonderfully drinkable. I downed this very easily. I was impressed with this. Could be tweaked a bit, but very good. I’d love to try their other offerings. Recommend. dnstone (3544) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - MAY 27, 2017
Pours golden in color with a white head. Nice floral hop aroma. Pop of flora hop flavor. Light bodied.
Notes: on tap at the brewery, Vancouver trip May ’17
Waiter told me that this beer was recently un-retired.

Nothing super special. Strong taste, medium bitterness, could use some more hops stantheman (1098) - British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 31, 2013
On tap at the pub in Gastown. I see the ratings are crap, but I actually rather like it. Nice darker amber color, but can’t get much nose off it so far. Very crisp, refreshing and unusual hoppy character, with a bit of malt in the background. It’s an unusual hop variety it seems. Less citrus than some is about all I can say. Nice. UPDATED: AUG 9, 2016 Hazy dirty blonde. The aroma is quite fruity- blueberry, pear, and mellow citrus. Has a fair bit of bitterness, nice fruity hop character. there’s definitely some chewiness in the finish, but a solid IPA. fiulijn (21264) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 2, 2008

Hazy golden color. The aroma gives some delicate peach, but it could be better defined. The mouthfeel is lean, dry; the malt profile is anonymous; good bitterness level with nice fruity component (peaches and mango), but suffering from being too dry, papery.
Pleasant, but more APA than IPA.

Hazy amber color. Easy Ale, well bitter, with some malt flavor. Golden Ale, more than IPA.

Hazy deep blond color; creamy head. There are some nice hops in the aroma, but very light. Some lost malt flavor, strong hopping, but with limited resins and interest. With the Porter, it’s the more balanced than the other beers here, quite ok.
