[9232-20170526] Can. Light marshmallow straw grass aroma. Clear, pale orange yellow body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Grassy straw wheat flavour. Medium body. Fair. (5/3/4/2/10) 2.4

Hazy golden colour with off white head. Wheaty grassy notes not too thick of a palate and not too sweet. I cannot find too many constructive things to say about this but it fits nicely into the style.

Can from Half Time. Unclear bright gold color. Small white head, mild, spotty lace. Crackery and pils malts, pepper, some herbal notes, and a little grass. Light-medium body, lively carbonation, tingly, dry finish. Enjoyable, clean drinking beer. Crisp, clean, with a nice mouthfeel.

Bravo.

16oz can. Approximates a true German Kolsch better than most North American examples. Slightly hazy yellow-tan body. Thin, steady white head. Pleasant clean malts, pleasant noble hops. Enjoyable, highly sessionable.

[Can (500ml)] Pours a clear gold with an average size diminishing frothy white head. Aroma of grassy hops, bready malt, paper and a touch of honey. Flavour of grassy hops, light honey sweetness and a light bitter finish. Average bodied. A touch too sweet but overall, it’s good.

500 ml can from lcbo. Pours with active carbonation and a large head. The beer is a bland yellow colour with adequate lacing. The aroma is mashed grain and yeast. The start is hoppy grass with notes of mashed grain going into the middle. A long smooth finish with hints of citrus at the very end. A decent kolsch!

can. Poured pale gold with a skim head. Sweet grainy aroma. Light body, lower carbonation. Sweet malty flavour, earthy notes, watery lemon citrus, herbal hops.

Had a different floral taste to it that I had not experienced before. Steam works BC seems to produce beer that is too my liking

can. pours almost clear light but bright yellow with a thin white cap offering some retention and lacing. crisp almost peppery pils maltiness, white grape lagering fruitiness, chewy cereals/herbs - straw-like; pepper crackers, tons of german noble grass - fresh sulphur-ish notes; some bitter yet fragrant grapefruit peel, über-clean yeast esters, minerals. moderate carbonation, light body, smooth and balanced grassy-herbal finish. very refreshing - thoroughly enjoyed this expertly executed/crafted kölsch!
