Dark red in color, medium body with a nice hop balance. Our strongest ale, very clean tasting with complex malt character. A west coast adaptation of a traditional amber ale.

Bomber from ericandersnavy, who never ceases to acquire and share beer from the heart of America. And even beyond. Pours copper with a decent foamy off-white head. Smells malty and lightly spicey. About medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is malty and something like fresh peach with lightly spicey aspects. Thins a bit with time, but the flavor goes on. Very drinkable beer.

Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - FEB 21, 2010
Pours a medium-dark red with a white head. The aroma is very malty, but nothing really stands out. The flavor is biscuity and caramel malt with some light hop flavor, mainly pine and citrus. Still, this is a very malt forward beer. There is very little to no hop bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and low carbonation.

Draught at TJ’s: Faint aroma of malts. Poured amber in color with a tiny, off-white head that lasted as a film on top of the beer and around the edges. Clear. Lightly sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of faint malt. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Malt finish. Very boring and one-dimensional. Not very good.

Tap at CAH. Pours a translucent golden amber with a medium bubbly off white head. Aroma of toasted malt, caramel, toasted almonds and light hops. Flavor of toasted malt, caramel, peanuts and light hops.

Bottle: Poured an amber color with limited head. The aroma was malts with a hint of hops. The flavor was sweet malts, light hops, and easy to drink. Overall, not bad.

I really enjoyed this brew. Poured a nice clear read with a medium head. Mild nose of sweet malts. Flavor rife with malts and only hints of hops. Notes of caramel and maple syrup. Very smooth and pleasant. Nice medium-bodied beer.

Fratto (2845) - Arlington, Texas, USA - SEP 27, 2009
Bottle from the Majestic on Eastchase. Not a lot of aroma, and what is there is stale. Taste is bitter with a little fruit and hay. Very creamy.
