UPDATED: APR 25, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Deep clear golden. Grassy, grainy nose. Theres sweet malt up front. The mouthfeel is clean, and its followed by a drier finish with resiny hop bitterness. A bit harsh.

Draught at the brewpub
Pale blond color, hazy; creamy head. Mild aroma of crispy malt and hop. The flavor of crispy malt is very good in the front, with citrusy, lemony hops and a light grassy touch; unfortunately the bitterness is too high in the end, and covers the malt. Pleasant, but unrefined.

Tap @ Steamworks, Vancouver. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are grass, straw, soap, malt and hops.

Copper colour. Aroma is grassy, lemony and bready - quite promising. Rich pithy bitterness, some toast and light bread note over top. Sort of an "amber pilsner" like Jamtlands Barnsten. Id prefer if it were without the toasty notes, though, but its not bad nonetheless.

On tap at Central Bistro, pours a piss clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma of straw and cereal malt - pretty bland. Flavour is crisp and refreshing, with subtle grassy hops and dry cereal malt. Dry, crisp and very easy to drink. Solid pils - better than the ratings suggest.

Lingering fluffy white head over a slightly hazy golden coloured beer. Aroma is mostly spicy hops. Saaz/Sterling aroma with a touch of light caramel malt. Flavour is also a combination of pale malt, a touch of caramel, and spicy and citrusy hops. Lemony (not cascady) flavour. Long bitter finish. Clean bitterness. Quite tasty and refreshing. A good pilsener, especially for this pub.

A little better than their lager but the praise ends there. Pours same, pale golden, but this has some lacing at least. Some crisp grain in finish and a little bitterness. On tap at brewpub.

An interesting take on the style. Highly hopped with PNW hops giving it an almost IPA like feel, but then a huge malt biscuity mouth balances things out driving home with a moderately dry finish.

Color of Rapunzels hair--slightly hazy golden leaving ample fronds of lacing on the glass.Crystal clear hop flavors with whispers of licorice in the aftertaste. Pure aromas reminiscent of a Bavarian lager. One I could drink all night.

(Draught) Thin, white, creamy head with nice lacing with a clear, amber, non-carbonated body. Fruity chinook hops with peaches. Fairly chalky but quite good. Good malt and hop balance. Enjoyable!
