Color of Rapunzel’s hair--slightly hazy golden leaving ample fronds of lacing on the glass.Crystal clear hop flavors with whispers of licorice in the aftertaste. Pure aromas reminiscent of a Bavarian lager. One I could drink all night. Lagerboy (2206) - British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 20, 2012
Clear bright golen yellow, foamy white head settles quickly. Light grassy hoppy aroma. Nice lasting bitter hop taste, mild malt background. Clean silky mouthfeel. Average carbonation, light bodied, moderately hopped. Long bitter finish. Nice local pil. LF (Lagerboy Friendly) ericdevin (988) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - NOV 23, 2012
Draft at Alibi Room, Vancouver. Kind of surprised to see the lower ratings on this one; thought it a rather nice pils. Pours a golden color with little head. Faintly yeasty aroma, maybe just a touch of apple in there as well. Smooth, rounded mouthfeel, finish is complex, sweet then bitter, with just the barest hint of umami. I’m not usually gaga over this style, but this came off really well. JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 23, 2005
Lingering fluffy white head over a slightly hazy golden coloured beer. Aroma is mostly spicy hops. Saaz/Sterling aroma with a touch of light caramel malt. Flavour is also a combination of pale malt, a touch of caramel, and spicy and citrusy hops. Lemony (not cascady) flavour. Long bitter finish. Clean bitterness. Quite tasty and refreshing. A good pilsener, especially for this pub. Oakes (17664) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 25, 2005
Copper colour. Aroma is grassy, lemony and bready - quite promising. Rich pithy bitterness, some toast and light bread note over top. Sort of an "amber pilsner" like Jamtlands Barnsten. I’d prefer if it were without the toasty notes, though, but it’s not bad nonetheless.

Pale blond color, hazy; creamy head. Mild aroma of crispy malt and hop. The flavor of crispy malt is very good in the front, with citrusy, lemony hops and a light grassy touch; unfortunately the bitterness is too high in the end, and covers the malt. Pleasant, but unrefined.
This is a good light beer with light body and golden color. Very little head and a slight smell of hops, a little citrusy too. manuchampions (1244) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 17, 2011
Sampled at Hopapalooza II. Pours a light golden with thin off white head. Fairly straight ahead grassy hop aroma with mild malt. Taste is much the same, sufficient bitterness for the style but not anything unexpected. Finish is crisp and balanced. A really nicely made beer that just comes across as bland...but I’m sampling it on a night of very big hoppy beers so...it deserves recognition based on that alone. A decent offering from one of my less favorite breweries.
Hazy amber, long lasting white head.Good lace.Decent body. Good malt profile with crisp dry hop finish CapFlu (5127) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 15, 2005
(Draught) Thin, white, creamy head with nice lacing with a clear, amber, non-carbonated body. Fruity chinook hops with peaches. Fairly chalky but quite good. Good malt and hop balance. Enjoyable!
