500ml or so can. Slightly hazy yellow-tan body. Attractive enough, but has some bile, stomach acid off tones in the aroma that pretty much kill it for me. It is close to really nice, but that off tone seriously detracts. Not a beer I would buy again.

[Can (500ml)] Pours a slightly hazy, bubbly pale gold with an average size diminishing frothy white head. Aroma is bready and lightly grassy along with some peas and grain. Flavour is grassy, a bit sweet and bready. Short average bitter finish. Average bodied. A pretty good, not great, Pilsner.

500ml can. Pours a slightly hazy pale gold with a medium, frothy, white head that laces nicely. Sweet aroma of corn, grain, lemon and grassy hops. Sweet flavour of pilsner malt, corn, lemon, grass and a light herbal note in a dry, bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. A pretty good pilsner.

Heller, trocken bitterer Antrunk.

Wenig herb. Das Bier ist eher langweilig.

BeerAndPonies (171) - Medicine Hat, Alberta, CANADA - APR 14, 2016
500 ml can from Real Canadian Liquorstore, served in a goblet. Pours a light golden straw color with light and short-lived carbonation and a fluffy, milky head that retreats to leave thin lace islands. Aroma is primarily a clean herbal, green noble hop and lightly honeyed grain profile, while the flavor is a mildly bitter, crackery malt with orange and lemon zest/marmalade, and the sip finishes with a herbal, peppery touch. Thin-bodied, and the bitterness only lasts for the briefest of moments. Steam Works definitely has a lock on good pilsner flavor, and its eminently quaffable at a pleasing price.
