Smell of malt. Copper colour, white head. Aroma of pumpkin, sugar, some fruit. Sweet. Flat carbon.

Pours a dark, brown'ish amber coloration with a medium, creamy head. Smells of caramel malt, brown sugar, ginger, nutmeg with a hint of pumpkin, maybe? Taste follows the nose, being more dominated by malt and spice than pumpkin. Seriously, I'm getting very little pumpkin from this. Instead there is a bready, caramel malt flavor with lots of brown sugar and spice: nutmeg, ginger and a little cinnamon. Very light bitterness in the aftertaste. This is such a typical Steamworks beer. They take a really interesting, exotic flavor and then subdue it in a very light, easily drinkable format. I still like this one because there's a really nice balance of sugar and spice going on there, but as a Pumpkin Ale, I wish it had a little more pumpkin bite. Then again, this is my first Pumpkin Ale, so what do I know.

Hermod (8517) - Vantaa, FINLAND - NOV 14, 2017
33cl bottle from Alko. Poured deep amber in color with a thick white head. Looks inviting. Spicy, xmasy nose, cinnamon, pumpkin and sweet doughy notes. Flavor has pumpkin, cinnamon, sweetness, gingerbread. Sweet finish. Not a pumpkin fan, but this one is quite nice.

mice (1102) - FINLAND - NOV 3, 2017
Clear copper beer with medium and quickly vanishing head. Aroma has sweet malty caramel and pumpkin and some ginger. Taste has sweet malts, pumpkin, ginger and spices at the end. Sweet overall, medium body. Too sweet and too much pumpkin for me. Even a bit fuggy.

Bottled 330ml (Alko web, BB 09/2018)
Clear copper colour, small beige head. Bready aroma has nutmeg and cinnamon. Light to medium-bodied. Nurtmeg, pumpkin seeds, cinnamon and clove in the sweetish, bready flavour. Quite thin for ABV. As useless as the most pumpkin beers.

Turboninja (936) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 27, 2017
[email protected], from Alko Kaleva, Tampere, Finland. Slightly bitter, light nuances of pumpkin, ginger, some cinnamon and a hint of malts. Medium taste spectrum and short aftertaste with light malts and some pumpkin. Medium body with medium/light carbonation. Overall, very basic and bit bland, though refreshing.

3.2
Nurmis (886) - Oulu, FINLAND - OCT 15, 2017
0,33l bottle. Pours clear copper with quickly diminishing head. Caramel, cinnamon, ginger, pumpkin. Quite odd at first, but not bad. The spiciness makes it interesting.
