Bright red colour. Slightly candyish raspberry aroma. Fruity, lively flavours, with a trace of alcohol for dryness. Tart, juicy finish. Not balanced, but it has good body and a very fresh raspberry character owing to the use of whole fruit. JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 28, 2004
Bright ruby red colour with a thin slightly pink head. Sright sweet raspberry aroma with the pronounced bitterness of raspberry seeds. Flavour shows lots of raspberry on the front with a burst of tart tannins in the middle before a short acidic finish. Very interesting, if somewhat thin body. Tasty brew, but not all that complex. Medium-dark red color with a nice raspberry aroma. Very nice bold raspberry flavour. Would need some more complexity for a higher rating but it was much better then I was expecting. BillKismet (4060) - Seattle, Washington, USA - AUG 8, 2003
Headless bloody mary appearance. Crushed rapberry aroma and rasperry flavor--for sure--soaks into the palate. Something seems missing. Otherwise, this is okay for a fruit beer. BeerPrince (1701) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 5, 2003
A nice raspberry aroma with light malts. Small pink head sat on a light red body. Flavour was raspberry all the way with minor malts. Finish was tart. A good fruit beer.
