An antidote to the rancid malty ales full of spices that have no place in beer that are inflicted upon us at this time of year. Intense Magnum bitterness, Late Pacific Jade and Centennial, and a shedload of Green Bullet dry hop. Remember, a hop is not just for Christmas...

Bottle shared at the Cotteridge convention, 24/01/2015. Thanks to EvilEmpire. Murky golden / orange coloured pour with a lasting thin white head. Aroma is sweert berrt, big of citrus and and slightly harsh earth note. Flavour is composed of dirty earthy hop, resin, bit of farmyard, grainy. Palate is medium full body with moderate cardbonation.

Leighton (22550) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 15, 2015
Bottle shared at the Cotteridge Convention 2015. Pours light hazy yellow with a foamy white. The nose holds dry citrus and white pepper. Light sweet flavor with heavy minerals, lemon rind, hay. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly sweet on the finish with more heavy and distracting minerals, some pithy citrus. Not bad.

Bottle Share at Cotteridge Convention 24/01/15

Poured a Hazy amber Pale with white head. A good malty citrus aroma and taste, dry hoppy finish, but you’d expect that knowing the brewer! Good Work.

Bottle at the Cotteridge Convention big thanks evilempire. It pours hazy gold with decent white head. The nose is big citrus, particularly grapefruit, some grass, hop spice and some creamy rice pudding thing going on. The taste is crisp, big bitter hit upfront... earth, grassy green hops, straw, resin and some sweet tropical action with a lingering dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Crisp and damn bitter. No not your typical English Xmas offering! Good.

jjsint (3518) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 31, 2015
Gravity cask at Elysian Winter Beer Festival, Ely, 2015. Golden/orange, without a lot of head. Peaches, apricot and cereal dominate the scent. Bittersweet taste with a slight sour note at the end. Medium palette. This is quite good, although maybe not to everyone’s taste.

The_Osprey (9343) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 27, 2015
Bottle share at Cotteridge Wines. Hazy yellow, still, small ring of white head. Aroma is lemony. Body is medium, low-ish carbonation, slightly foamy. Taste is grassy, light citrus, medium bitterness. Decent.

BlackHaddock (7746) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JAN 27, 2015
24th Jan 2015: shared bottle at Cotteridge Wine meet. Poured a hazy gold with an off white pillow on top. This is all about the hops and there are plenty hanging around in this brew. They cancel each other out a little though, loads of grapefruit in the aroma and taste but that overshadows the tropical fruit like attributes of other hops varieties. Still a nice beer, and different, but just over hopped for my palate (I am old apparently).

RichTheVillan (8298) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JAN 25, 2015
Bottle at Cotteridge wine convention; hazy golden yellow pour with a foamy off white head, tropical fruit aroma, taste has grapefruit, tangerine, mango and pine, a real hop assault on the senses.
