ManVsBeer (10927) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 12, 2016
Bottle from Wine And Beer Direct, Halifax. Straw-yellow with a thick frothy head. Lots of hops, a fair amount of citrus which is at its greatest in its nose as its taste is less stated than you expect given it’s potency. There’s some acidity, some grapefruit, and a citrus bitterness.

Benzai (16527) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUL 24, 2014
Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. A bit hazy yellow color, medium sized white head. Aroma is lightly malts, nicely hoppy, quite citrussy. Taste lightly malts, citrus, quite fruity, hops, nicely bitter. Suitable body and carbonation. Lovely beer!

Bottle, a well rounded complex multi hop APA, I really liked the refreshing fruity flavours coming through both on the aroma and palate. Also had Phantom Extra, which really benefited from the extra ABV, up to 6.7%, unfortunately a very limited brew and even fewer bottles. Keep up the good work Steel City.

Gravity dispense at Craft 100, Craft Clapham, 03/04/14. Pale golden with moderate off white spotting come swirl. Nose is fresh citric hops, straw, light minerals, lemon rind, orange pith, touch of grapefruit. Taste comprises light spice, citric tang, bitter orange pith, earthy hops. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid hoppy number.

Scopey (15431) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 7, 2014
Cask at Craft 100. It pours clear golden with a small, bubbly white head. The nose is fresh, floral, tangerine, apricots and candied peel. The taste is fresh, orange peel, soap, lemon peel, peppery spice, grapefruit and onions. Medium body, fine carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Good level of bitterness. The onion-like aspect is a bit off-putting after a while...

3rd April 2014
Craft100 fest at Craft Clapham. Cask. Lightly hazy gold beer, residual white head. Palate is light and dry. Big Apollo hop like garlic. Underneath is thin malt with a strong white smoke streak. Light dry finish. Weird.

Fin (10821) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 4, 2014
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham purchased and consumed the same day at mums, Worcester, Friday 4th April 2014 Pours cloudy yellow with a white head. Wonderfully hoppy with a nice pithiness, a little dustiness . This is nicely bittersweet, juicy with the bitterness coming to the fore and ending in a dry finish. A damn good beer.
