Can at Zion, Utah. Clear pale yellow pour. Corn, a bit sweet, watery, and some stale old bread. Really light and watered down compared to the normal version. That being said its actually somewhat easy to drink. CanIHave4Beers (4224) - Pouring Bus, Iowa, USA - SEP 5, 2015
Hey u dingus, I bought this 1 in Kansas! wedgie9 (2703) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - FEB 10, 2015
Pours golden with such clarity, it’s got a big fluffy white head that leaves some spotty lacing on the glass.
The aroma is sweet and doughy with a little grape and some corn.
Considering the pungency of the aroma I sort of expected more flavor from this one, but it is watered down to 1/2 the strength of the original, so it is what it is. It’s got a light corniness, a little dough, some very mild fruit flavor and bitterness. It’s markedly unoffensive but it is also less flavorful than most light beers on the market. It keeps some characteristics of the classic from whence it came, but it is toned down considerably.
Fun session Malt Likka, new style for Joet to tackle once he gets control of the post tab.
Tasted on 2/9/15 from a 16oz can, big thanks to Alex for picking this up in Oklahoma for me. Pours clear straw with a thick, fizzy white head that slowly recedes to average, sticky lace. The nose is sweet caramel corn with a white Wonder Bread note. The flavor is pretty much the most watery beer I can imagine with just the very faintest hints of sweet corn and white bread. The body is super light with fizzy carbonation, more like a soda, and a very short watery finish. Frank (4235) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 27, 2014
This one doesn’t really taste like malt liquor. It is just basically a cruddy light beer, which is honestly better than most malt liquors but still not good. It’s very clear golden w/ a foamy head. It has bit of a cidery apple note in the nose and a grassy straw-like hop note w/o any bitterness. This is bland moreso than bad. crossovert (13833) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 20, 2014
709ml can. Golden pour, mild adjunct flavors and tastes, this is near tastesless it comes very close to a mineral water. Not offensive, but not good, and bums can’t get drunk off it as easily.

The weaker cousin to the angry 8% ABV Steel Reserve, this beer has a corn aroma and a mild head. Another classic gas Station beer but I would drink a Schlitz Malt Liquor Bull over this (but colt 45 is the king of classic Malt Liquors). not horrible, but not an item I would ever buy in a bar or restaurant. Rake courtesy of brew2or3. Yellow clear pour, no head. Sweet wet grain, corn. Light to medium bodhi. Taste the rarity.
