UPDATED: JAN 4, 2015 En pression at brewery. Pint glass. St. Louis park. Appearance: dark in color. Complete opaque. Tan head with good retention. Aroma: hops- pine, pineapple. Roasted barley, chocolate, maybe a hint of coffee? Taste: mildly bitter. Slight sweetness underneath. Palate: medium body. Thick frothy texture. Long hoppy finish. Overall: Well made. Nice balance of hops and roasted notes.

Mouth feel like a pale ale After feel bitterness of one But the grape fruit/ apricot mixed with the caramel and smoky undertones make me think porter or stout Something very different I like it

Looks like it pours black, but seems to be a crystal ruby red around the edges. Small off-white head. Aromas of pine, very light coffee, and another aroma which seems similar to pot. Weird. Taste is toasty like coffee, more pine and an almost curry-like hop flavor. Very interesting, pretty good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22 oz. bottle. Pours a dark brown almost black color with a tight foamy soapy khaki head that slowly fades way to a thin foamy film. Aroma has solid bitter hops of pine/spruce with big roasted malt burnt toffee and hidden coffee. Taste has more big bitterness of pine spruce some hidden citrus and roasted malt faded coffee and brunt toffee/caramel. Palate is medium smooth and dry with a coating feel in the finish. Really nice! This needs to be a regular, in their line-up!

Bomber. Pour is very dark brown, thin mocha head. Aroma is hoppy pine and dark roasted malt, some sweetness. Taste is big pine and lemon hops, dark roasted, but not black IPA levels, caramel malt, toffee, earthiness.

22oz bottle from KHOFF, pours a nice deep dark brown, with first little head, then second glass had a large foamy offwhite head, plenty of lacing hanging on the glass. nose is slightly hoppy with a touch of piney resin. mostly a roasted flavor and a bit bubbly on the tongue.. decent beer I’d say.

5/4/13. 22oz bomber thanks to CLe to the var, bitches! Darl brown pour with a nice khaki tan head. Nice hop aroma, pine as aforementioned, but also with a distinct fruitiness touching on Fruity Pebbles. Big hop flavor, a good bitterness as well, with big doses of pine, fruitiness, citrus, and a touch of roasted malts. Tasty!

Bomber thanks to Caleb. Pours a pure black color with a large beige head. A sweet nose of pine and light chocolates. The flavor leans toward the darker porter side with roast, dry chocolate and ash, caramel, light bitter pine and citrus. Very flavorful.
