Ok DIPA ... drinks well for the ABV but there’s plenty out there less intense than this one that deliver more of what I crave from the style. mcberko (19814) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 15, 2013
750mL bottle, sent from mista (thanks a lot, Geoff), pours a hazy golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is incredibly hoppy, lots of residual sugars, and a little butterscotch. Flavour brings out loads of resinous hops, balanced by a big portion of caramel malts. Lots of residual sugars, but somehow not cloying at all. There’s a perfumy floral quality to it that is situated well. Not the most easy drinking IIPA, but well-constructed nevertheless. djd07 (16289) - Houston, Texas, USA - FEB 2, 2016

Clear amber-gold color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of piney hops, citrus and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit and grainy malt. The finish is fruity hops up front with a malty aftertaste. Above average overall.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Tap at Muddy Waters. Apparently tap is better than bottle, per recent ratings. This is awesome - citrus hop, caramel, super rich - just killer. cubs (10740) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAR 13, 2012
Bottle @ home. Clear dark red orange appearance with a light brown head. Somewhat resiny, sappy, piney, floral hoppy, a bit bready aroma. A bit grapefruity, soapy/floral hoppy, citrusy hoppy flavor with a warming, a bit boozy finish. Not bad.
