3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a crystal clear golden amber with a thick creamy head that leaves some nice lacing.
Aroma is full of pineapple and pine resin but also a hefty caramel malt sweetness - very balanced in the nose.
Taste is also very balanced with caramel malts and toasted grains on one hand and grapefruit and pienapple on the other.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and sweeter than many IPAs. It’s got some prickly character with decent carbonation.
This is one of the better balanced IPAs I’ve had recently. I’m not sure if I’m as big a fan of this than I am some of the hop-heavy IPAs out there, but it certainly makes it drinkable.
Mild hoppy aroma, golden color, minimal head, mild smooth hoppy flavor, more like a lager then an IPA

I hate that I am forced to write a comment, when all I want to do is rate the beer for my own reference. What happened to not having to integrate with ratebeer.com?

Clear golden with a decent off white head.
Nose is floral hop, toasted malts, tangerine, lemon tinged straw.
Taste comprises tangerine, light caramel, floral, toasted grains, perfume.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with hop bitterness.
Decent IPA if a touch on the sweet side.
October 2016 - Can share at CBC Islington. As ’Steel Toe Size 7 IPA’. Many thanks to JK! Dark golden yellow, still, clear, foamy off-white head, full lacing. Aroma is floral, toffee apple, chalky. Body is light, spritzy carbonation, slightly foamy. Taste is toffee and sweet caramel, boiled sweets, flowery, flint, dries out into the finish. Pretty good. 12 oz can. (Ale Jail) St Paul, MN. phaleslu (10747) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 27, 2016
Clear golden color with a mid-size foamy white head.
Cookies, sweetness, malt and mild fruity hops in the aroma.
The flavor is mild piney and resiny hops, mild bitterness and cookie maltiness.
Pretty decent IPA.
12 oz. can from TheHOFF43 - thanks again, Kyle! Pours a clear orange-hued gold with an inch of frothy barely off-white head that settles into a ring and patchy big island of film. Heavy sticky lace. Toasted and caramel malt backbone, with leafy, grassy, tea-like, and slightly piney hops. A suggestion of grapefruit peel, and a light dash of nuttiness. Light-medium bodied, with a malty, bitter mouthfeel and light carbonation. Lingering bitterness. Good IPA. Need to try again fresher. madmitch76 (25801) - , Essex, ENGLAND - OCT 25, 2016

Craft Islington Gathering. Thanks to JK for the can. Clear bright gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light sweetish pale malts. Good soft hop skunk and pine. Juicy citrus and tropical fruits. Finishes spicy tropical. Everything light and in good balance with each other. My favourite beer of the event.
