Sampled in Burlingame. Really enjoyed this one. it was big time hoppy and a bit of cloudiness to it. A really enjoyable brew. Perhaps served a bit too cold.

No way in hell this is a double IPA. One of the weakest doubles I’ve had. Overall it’s well balanced and structured, hiding the alcohol, but like with all the other steelhead brews it’s too watery for style. It’s a double IPA, I want to be smacked in the face by hops and malts. I call this IPA+, but no IIPA.

Dogbrick (13767) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUN 16, 2013
Sample at the Burlingame brewpub. Pours a hazy amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of citrusy hops, toasted malt and a bit of pine. The finish is moderately bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.
